What should the sub sonic be set at?

I just bought a level 4 12 like 2 weeks ago. I love it. It is amazing. I have it in a 1.7 cubic ft box tuned to 33 Hz. It is ran off of a Elemental Design nine.1 amp. It gets warm really quick. Is this usual?. My gain between 1/4 and 1/2 on the amp. To ear, it does not sound distorted. I can play it for like 5 mins all the way up and the DC letters on the dust cap are really hot.

If you split the batteries, ill take the 2 d925s.

I got it installed in the truck today. It sounds so much better than my 15s. I love it. It pounds pretty hard and my amp aint even half way up. Heres some pics.

Thanks. Ive only messed with subs that are dual ohm. Do these 12s drop lows? Im getting really anxious to hear it.

To wire 1 dual 2 ohm sub at 1 ohm, do i just put the positve from each coild together, and the negative from each coil together, or wat?

I forgot to put the size of the box. HAHA. The temporary box is 1.7 cubic ft tuned to 30 Hz. Since this is a temporary box, i wanted to try tuning lower than 33 Hz.

Thanks. Yea i recycled the wood from the old wall. Thats why there is alot of wood puddy because i had to fill in the screw holes that was there from the wall. Im ready to get all 4 of them.

Nope not yet. It arrived about 730pm today and i got the box done about 8ish. Im just waiting on the silicone in the box to dry so it dont stink up the truck. Im ready to hear it.

Well my new DC level 4 12 arrived today. Its a beast. For now, i built a temporary box until i can get all my equipment for the new system. New system will be: 4 dc level 4 12s 2 sundown saz2000s DC power 300 amp alt 2 D925 batts in the rear, 1 d2400 upfront Heres some pics of the temporary box. I know yall love pics. My ride My radio. Its a clarion vrx 785 indash My old wall tore in pieces Temporary box New DC level 4 Tomorrow i will get pics of the box with all the puddy sanded off and it put in the truck. I had hifonics 1208d amp and i loved it. I have a elemental design nine.1 that puts out 1200 watts at 1 ohm and its forsale.

I have a stock alternator right now. I will eventually upgrade it but it will be later on. Would a d2400 upfront and 2 d925s in the back be good, or get a d925 in the front and 2 d925s in the back?

For my next system, ill be getting 4 dc level 4 12s. they will be powered by 2 saz 2000d amps. What electrical will i need for these? I already have the big 3 upgrade and 0 gauge power wire running to my current amp. For the batteries, i dont have a lot of room, so im thinking about 2 power master 925s in the rear. Will this be enough?
