  1. Pre drill with mdf and it wont split, I split maybe 1 out of 100holes in mdf Its just a matter of finding the right size predrill hole and right tourqe with drill
  2. Ive used it and hated it That sheet may look straight but once cut into smaller sections it will be warped Its basically plywood
  3. Nvm the " mod" i sugested wont work on that style All it does is allow you to have high and low beams on at the same time
  4. If your going to the front end i think you are, google " chevy 4hi mod" And get 2 sets of HIDs
  5. Yet...lol i have a feeling were going to get a shit load all at once and with my luck it will be when im on call for work.. Lol
  6. There was alot of 360s Most were noobs The truck (full size one) was the first time in snow so.. Took some getting used to lol This was the first snow fall so it was basically " everyone get together and go do doughnuts and drifting" type deal lol
  7. Truck was hard to drift at first but after a lil while i figured it out.. Not easy to drift a truck with a few hundred pounds of audio in it!!
  8. When you try to turn it on Whats the voltage at the amp?
  9. I run saz4500s.. Imo I would try for 300A+ for alt and atleast 3 decent batterys in the back to keep the amp happy You need power to make power, if ou can properly power your amp it will make about 5-6k depending on how you wire it
  10. A used TL can be had for about 500 then the update to switch it over then update the software (unless its already got new aoftware) in the end ts almost the same price
  11. IMO youll be better off buying new.. Less hassel as well
  12. Yes, the cone "cycles" leas but it moves further I know its way under box tunning when they do warm up, but just thought i would ask, just odd how how the subs move more and cool less, if that makes sence lol
  13. ill be lengthening port/shrinking box volume.. when i double the power..again!!
  14. i dont hit hte mechanical "limit" just seems to get warmer faster
  15. on paper the box is tuned to "41hz" but becase of lack of power ( 500rms per clammped ) i dont have a problem playing down to 27hzish but after a few min they get warm, ( they do move quite a bit.. but dont hit mech. limit ) if i stay around box tunning ( 41hz) i dont have any issues!
  16. Si, ive been thinking about this the last coue days, and cant seem to think of the answer. When a sub starts to unload (or playing far under tunning but still not hitting mechanical limits) why does it heat up? Wouldnt more xmax cool the coil better?
  17. At .8 on a burp (rolling into it) it was ok if i went slowish but if i went quick it would protect( mind you i only had 1 425a alt and 2 oddesy 2150s) But i think they way i had it wired was playing a huge factor. Ill just have to wait for 2 more amps and have 4 4500s strapped at .7 a pair..
  18. i know id be quite a bit louder.. shittt..at . 8 strapped im 1.5db louder then i am at 1.5 strapped..
