  1. always intended on 2..LOL...just forgot to say that in the first post. have been building a test box with only one sub and one port.....oops awesome..i think we might just build it with 2 for this weekend, three might be a little longer than we want. but we need a box, and we are pushing it close right now.
  2. Thanks. We have decided on either one 6 inch or Two 4 inch. not real sure yet. I am going to run some numbers when I get home, and then we are going to prepare to build yet another box and hope this one will fit without any problems.
  3. would like Opinion s Planning on building an aero ported box for Two 10" Lvl 4 with Lvl 5 VC. Going to use 6 inch external aero ports with a box that will have ~2.5 cubes after all deductions. Initially Planned on 2 ports, but then the lengths of the tubes seem to get Long to get tune around what we initially wanted (to long to fit in the var). Would 1 6" port actually be better, in this situation. this build is for IDBL, bass boxing, and daily listening. So a High tuning is not ideal . I think that is all i can think of for now. Thanks
  4. as far as I know you can talk to Rusty..in the DC topic section about the subs.
  5. Well..hmmm...I would listen to Bill, on this...David and he seems to know their $h!t pretty well.
  6. i dunno much about the sundown amps...seen a few at some comps...but I have mostly seen the SAZ line.
  7. get dual 2 ohms and you can wire it to 1 ohm load
  8. ha ha ha....awesome...I think I had either a 91 or a 94..I do not remember. and I paid 2500 for it back in 2000
  9. sorry, guess i missed the other question....yeah I think one is better. but I have no proof or anything as to why. but less connections means less that could go wrong.
  10. yup... http://www.sundownaudio.com/index.php/prod.../sae-1200d.html
  11. i would be glad to help ya out but any thing that high I am not sure about...but have you looked on the Song freq listing? http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...?showtopic=1753 most of them are not to constant but you might find some that are...but there are a lot to go through. also there is an area that tells you how to get the freq urself.
  12. for bassrace though you have to use a music CD that is open to the public to purchase.
  13. http://www.dcsoundlab.com/woofers.html i would think maybe 1 level 3 or maybe 2 lvl 2
  14. that would be awesome...I should hear you from here.....any idea when this will get finished? Yeah David and Bill have been awesome guys to deal with. I know they are really working to make great products and their customer service is top notch.
  15. awesome...i might be the only one there pushing the diablo amps...hope not, but may be.
  16. look at the Diablo audio Hellrazor 4125...it is pretty beefy and does not really cost that much. I plan on getting that eventually. the Fi Q's are 1000 Wrms and the SSD's or 800 Wrms. https://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficaraudio.com/...view.shopscript your amp might be a decent match for the SSD's, probably just one though. my buddy had 4 in his trunk with a matts amp that was rated at 500rms and he hit a freakin 139.? at 34 hurts from the trunk. pretty nice.
  17. I am not familiar with you amp, so I can not give any suggestion there.....but DC subs are also worth looking into. and Welcome. but I dunno, if that amp will be enough for the Q's
  18. oh and no more posts for you.....:) that is my target of posts then I will start a new name. HA HA HA..j/k
