    I have a team mate who has 2 5k's strapped at .5 on 18v per 15 lvl 5.Approximately 18k per sub.

    In the pic posted I dont have the bottom cushion in. I took it out for testing and lost so back in it will go. All seating is fully functional and can lock into position.

    Absolutely only thing wrong with them is the surrounds. If I was patient enough I could strip the surrounds and put new ones on and have a perfectly functional sub.

    Alrighty box is out of the car. To get the subs out i had to use a chizel and hammer to seperate the split baffle from the face of the box.

    Well according to the Big Boss the rings are done and will be sent asap!! Guess that means its time to tear this shit out the car and get them baskets off!

    These are just for testing to see if it helps give me a tad bit more excursion in hopes of not ripping. If it turns out that they work well Rusty has said he'd entertain thoughts of having a tall surround tooled for the cones he uses now. Or possibly being available through the Thorshammer Upgrade package. I'm still waiting on the custom cf dustcaps that will be apart of that package as well. There is no change scheduled for cones or surrounds at this time.

    Had them in the car for about 2.5 weeks before I pulled the surround off the cone during a bassrace run. lol

    Its not a new basket. Its a mounting ring that bolts to the 10in basket and extending it to a 12in mounting diameter to eliminate the split baffle. It will be apart of the Thorshammer Upgrade package. Will have pics of Rings soon. All of what these guys have stated is true. Car?

    Originally the cars res frequency was 47. After adding deadener and sealing it dropped to 43.

    I've really got to give Rusty some mad props! This is one Nasty Sub and with the exception of the surround ya cant kill em. My coils dont stink, I cant bottom them out, spiders are strong as hell and I might add plenty stiff after 400+burps and countless hrs of demos, and the cone shows no sign of stress. Not only do they still play in this state they still break 51's

    Rough vid but look at the left sub. Surround is literally just held on with Gorilla tape. You can see the air pockets that it creates.

    Mike I got a couple questions for ya. 1. where exactly do they place the mic on drivers side? Closer to the door or center console. 2. Which side is your port on. To me it looked like passenger side but you couldnt really tell from vid. I was bored and was playing around with the meter. Put mic in drivers kick, passenger door open, 154.6. This is with port on drivers side. I opened the trunk but saw no gain. Yes this is with my taped up woofas. lol

    Been brutally beating up on these lil guys for testing. Both visors down, drivers seat forward, center console open gain of .4. Well over 400+burps and still counting! The left subs surround is held on with gorilla tape. You can literally hear the air piss out over the bass.

    Either will be comparable and whenever your ready I can do it. Recone kit from AQ is 135 for the hd3 plus 15 shipping.

    Yes it will do rated power. Will thrive in a daily application.

    Got a single lvl 3 10 on DC 1k and it drinks it up so I would think 1500 is safe.
