    Title says it, which one would you recommend and why? If it matters, box for one sub will be built to specs for my brother's '92 Honda Prelude based on subwoofer chosen. Not sure about the amplifier, maybe the SAZ-1000D at 2ohm.

    How about 2 15's from FI or DC Audio, in the right box I bet they'll be louder than the Kickers.

    Clipping usually happens when the gains on amplifiers are set too high, or HU turned all the way up, songs that already contain clipping, and it also happens when an electrical system on a vehicle is not strong enough for a certain high powered amplifier. Let Decaf or one of the gurus chip in, they know it way more than me.
