Hey man i went to the Sactown show too. Yopur drive couldnt have been that long. That was about 24 hours each way so a 48 hour round trip, so what does that get me? Lets not forget about finals as well seeing how it counts toward 2010 points totals, so for me that was 40 hours one way 80 hour round trip.

How do i join Team DC? There should be 2 jackets for the loudest DC competitor of the year because i have a feeling we will see DC Audio subs well in the 180+ range this year. haha

I can say DC Audio has caused plenty of damage to Jimbo as well.

Finally got the shell all smoothed out, primed and painted. Now just waiting on the plexi for the top. And the color is a CUSTOM color i made for Jimbo. But i felt it would look real good in this install so i decided to use it.

Thats a harsh comment Drew. If you are blowing up Stetsom amps you are doing something wrong... But then maybe i am the only guy on this site that knows what he is doing? As for the lv6 it will be a high power DAILY sub. With a 4" coil it would handle 5k daily respectively. At a certain point adding more power on music gets you no where, just ask Rob lol. Why do you think i dont turn my amps up anymore?

I dont understand the original post... Did the basket break or the softparts? There is alot of conflicting words and terms being used so i am not sure.... Maybe on the larger frames it is a issue with the weight but when i ran the lv5 12s i never broke any baskets, and that was one of the things i was worried about at the time. Them things are heavy!!!

Ya tuning high isnt going to make it louder. Tune to your cabins resonant frequency for best results. Also dont be afraid to make alot of different enclosures and try new things. As for Stetsom amps i have been using them matched with my DC subs for a while now and had nothing but good luck, burping, bassrace, phyclone, demoing and bumpoing to and from shows. They are strong amps make huge power and you dont need 16 + volts either. I would recommend them to everyone but if everyone used them it would be bad news for me!!! haha
