  2. yeah i would make the box min height of , speaker mouting depth plus 2 inches http://img237.imageshack.us/img237/7200/oldschool.jpg trunk is only 14 inches high, my box is 10.5 high, sounds amazing
  3. look at the Mb Quart dsc1500d
  4. In the thrid sentence he asked which one he should go with the 9515 or the btl not VS.
  5. what they should have done (THe Loudest) they should have rated the amp at 1500 watts rms, and that would justify the $400 plus price tag, we love underated amps,
  6. another one will be $1100, i don't think he'd wanna spend that kind of money again
  7. no it's not worth fixing,
  8. he should get 2 sax 2000d's one on each btl
  9. what year bl's are u talking about, this yr or last, yr. Also how near are u to ATL, i'm over in Lithonia
  10. I don't think anyone knows what difference it makes, i sure don't. People luv to assume suff and really can't back up what they'er saying. Who really knows what a bass boast does, why even have it on the amp, if it's just gonna add distortion, heat, and clipping. Has anyone ever tested the effect of the bass boast, or are we going by what we've heard by word of mouth.
  11. i'ld get the MB Quart setup, they take up less space.
  12. the mouthing depth on those will have the speaker sticking out the box. lol get some shallow mounts
  13. lol that don't make any sense to me, what are they scared the customer might do a lil price comparison, my god!!!!
  14. what kind of whine is it, does it have a constant whine or does it whine when the engine revs?? try this dude. do the big three up front, run power to second battery only!! run a short ground for the second battery in the trunk, about 10-12 inches or as short a possible, never ground your amps and crossover directly to a battery, only to good metal in the trunk. you could ground them all in one spot , but not to the battery, find a good ground for your head unit too, metal is best. and i've found that the eq and your head unit needs to share the same ground spot.
  15. how do u have it mounted. is it real secure??
