  1. Just by chance did you try to ground your radio to where your amp ground is? also if you have 2 battery's is each battery ground to a different location? if so have you tried running a ground wire from main battery to Back battery? I was told by a friend a long time ago that if you have ground noise that you should move all your grounds to 1 point and that will eliminate ground loop noise. just a few thoughts anyway..hope you get it figured out, I know its a pain in the ass.
  2. I want to know how he is getting 40 cents a post

  5. Sweet... Illinois people are piling up in here. Looks like the majority are from the North... have to get together sometime. I guess a good meeting point would be around I-80 somewhere I know there is a huge Truck stop up that way somewhere. Of course if anyone can make the Canton Audio competition ill see you there... I will put a tag on my window saying SMD on it.
  6. Sounds like you have the same board as me mine is a gigabyte too.

  16. Yes.. you are definitely vibrating the hell out of your vehicle. nice by the way I noticed when you were showing the back of your vehicle that it looked like someone wrote something on your window... by chance did it say wash me
  17. That is what I want to look into.. Looks like there are a few people interested in this type of mod
  18. As a matter of fact I am probably going to buy a battery from him also... found out he has battery's too. I know I am definitely getting the alternator but I have to see what the funding is like for the battery. Might have to wait til next month but I have been doing computer repair on the side to make a little extra for car audio. Working on a laptop now should bring in enough for me to get both.
  19. That is proof that sometimes the solution is real simple... thank you now its got my mind clicking... power antenna clipped to length with a switch and a cable to turn rpm from 2000 to standard idle at a flip of a switch...
  20. Ahhh... so I am not the first to think of this So how is it done... please share
  21. As the title said.. You know when you start your vehicle up in the morning it always idles a little higher until it heats up. Well I was wondering if it would be possible to trick the system into thinking that it has not heated up yet there for keeping your idle a little higher. Or as far as that goes being able to hook a switch up to it to turn it off or on. Also what are the possibilities of hooking something up that you could turn your idle up or down like a volume knob? You know how some people will put there foot on the peddle to get there rpm's up when there trying to get another DB. This is just a thought... but there would be benefits to a mod like this... like you would not have to be in the car to control the rpm with your foot.
