  1. wow classic em we need more of that, that's all i got
  2. IMO the alpine's will probably do you just fine.
  3. can you post a link sorry i know off topic. anyway that sh*t is wicked flex can't wait to see what it does on the meter and at what freq. What amp are you using.
  4. Could you tell me the model so I can look at it I'm curious which one it is.
  5. maybe multiple fans but that is only a temp fix ya know. Push pull across the heat sinks maybe that would help.
  6. Man I hate to be this blunt that's what you get for buying sony. I have had and installed a few they all overheat they suck and that's that sorry get a real amp.
  7. not bad don't need the dual amp kit I saved all my db blocks and connectors but is it 100% copper
  8. gotta say i love the 9500 boxes in the background of the pics anyway lookin good so fay can't wait to see the end
  9. Thanks SQ ya know i was sitting contemplating the same thing 0ga it is for the love of god though does anybody know anyone that sells pure copper thats flexible and somewhat affordable.
  10. thats cool but hey man im glad i could pm me if you need anymore
  11. call and talk to jason maybe setup a meet and greet before you spend the money but i don't regret one dime out of the money i didn't spend he he mom paid for it but again return on investment was a great job and good memories can't beat that edit spelling
  12. yeah I know cca is not bad by any means but I don't feel like going through the trouble of doing a two solid week build and then using something i dont trust as far as the fuse block idea i thought if that i can get the 0ga i have under the back seat then I can do that but the wire came out of a 2004 corolla and will be going into a 2000 to 2002 toyota 4 runner and i dont know how long it is to get back their.
  13. cca is garbage i will only use pure copper i hate that crap. no offense didn't mean to sound like i was tearing your head off. I have about 15 feet of streetwire pure copper 0ga but i don't think it will be enough for the new truck.
  14. I will have stock alt, big three, lead acid battery up front, 2 34/78 optima yellow tops powering a zxi6406 and a bxi1606d or the amps will be rockford punch p1000-1db or p400-4 you guys think 2 ga will enough for the run from the front battery to the battery isolator in the back or should I run 0ga. I will not be upgrading later so this will be permanent and i'm trying to save a little money and time. Edit-Sorry the stock alt is 120amps if that matters
  15. Jordan fades back he shoots and thats the game lol no prob anytime glad it worked out for ya just remember when you put in your 4 chan to run new spk wire to all the spk's and disregard the ones behind the radio as they are inputs to the factory amp. edit- oh and as far as the imprint if you want to make any spl its not for you it flat tunes the response curve, time aligns and sets all the crossovers for the car to a specific point in the car it is for all us sq guys that are lazy
  16. just let me know how it turns out and if thats not the not what it was take a few pics of the harness so i can look at it.
  17. check the connections on your harness and see what wire is attached to the blue wire on the harness you bought for the car if its blue to blue then change it to blue/white from the alpine to blue on the car harness and you should be all set like I said you have a factory amp under your rear deck it is a silver box looks like it is one big heat sink edit- the reason it only works on tuner is because the blue wire you have hooked up from the alpine is the power antenna it only has 12v while the radio is on tuner
  18. Under the rear deck of your car is a factory amp and you have the power antenna hooked up to the factory amp turn on as the remote wire. Make sure that the wire going to turn on your amps or the blue wire on the harness you bought for the car has the blue/white wire hooked to it from the alpine not solid blue that should fix the problem
  19. as far as i know right now they have a 1 month and 9 week courses the shorter goes over all the basics of caraudio the longer includes adv fab, adv wiring, paint, ad home theater.
  20. meade on that xbox 360 kick meet me on that rainbow 2 vegas 2 just send the pm between 10pm and 2pm eastern time
  21. I used to bash optima because when I saw them it was in improper use. I used two of YT dual post 35s witha big lead acid up front and never dropped below 12.8 on a stock alt pretty impressive if you ask me. Now I will will say that an AGM had a lower internal resistance and can hold a lot of energy but a gel does have better vibration resistance and can store just as much energy because they have a higher float voltage. Optimas float 13.2 and Idon't know about AGM But as far as I know they float between 12.7 and 12.8. So that means that a gel AKA optima will discharge and recharge slower but deliver more voltage which could be good in a bass race or sustained playing situation but if you want pure burp or need some form of quick discharge then the AGM is better if anyone would like to correct me I won't chop your head off. I am curious which is better as well. Edit- spelling
  22. x 2 it all trial and error its also what sounds best to you nobody can tell you what you like get it.
