  1. I was looking at this one http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/Pr...ProductID=16593 its only 300 i like that and the shock value of one sub would be cool
  2. link no work oh and i think i might be able to fit a 15 if i put one of the amps somewhere else that could help right
  3. what about the dc lvl 4 or 4 xl what do think about those and can you post a link for the soundstream so i can make sure i am looking at the right one
  4. do you think they will hold up to a lot of daily abuse never heard the splx i have heard the t5 sounded ok do you also think the splx will sound good for daily use
  5. do you think that would give me what i want as far as spl and still sound good daily edit all those subs are only around a 1000 rms and i should at least be able to put down 1400 to 1500 with all the electrical i will have
  6. its based per store most of the employees will use instruments or bass mehkanik check out big pimpins, decafs amd bassaddicts stuff generally good to go after that and if thats not enough than just pick up a few a bass mehkanik cds or jack a few instrumentals on lime wire i didn't see a thing lol enjoy
  7. what sub i cant get another amp right now its not in the budget so i gotta stick with the BXi1606d what single sub can i use that will have enough sq for daily use and be able to put me in the 130 class my budget for the subs are between 300 and 400 edit my max box dimensions external are w=45.5 h=14 d=12 to 13
  8. street wires is the only 1/0 i will use my friend is about to sell me an entire kit of the ultra cable for 50 bucks he he and yeah id be pissed if i saw that crap
  9. Yeah I know that but just a quick note you guys do realize that this is an suv not a trunk install just to make sure if that makes any difference.
  10. well my only other option is to do the two of the re se 12's ported but i dont think that 3.5 cu ft is enough for them to breath with vent displacement and sub displace taken out of 3.5 it would probably more like 3 or 2.75 internal at that point is that big enough for them
  11. lol spider man got a day job i drive to work and back wow im really cool huh jk nothing that crazy i do like to go out on the back dirt roads and have a little fun in the rolla now that she is gutted he he he dont tell the dealer in a month or two when trade it in SHHHHHHHHHHHH
  12. thanks matt but hey while your reading any suggestions would be great you read the setup anything you think maybe different subs budget is important though i have to get the truck and have to have it fully done by next march SBN baby Btw maybe hope to see ya their steve and other fellow SMD members
  13. I take it its not a blow through right on the meter you may not have enough room for the wave to complete that what im banking on that setup in the vid did i think mid to high 130's and it was a 4th of the power im gonna be running and smaller subs so thats why im curious
  14. what kind of vehicle do you drive edit- I do realize that what i am asking out of the system will be pushing it but no if i was going for spl i'd wall the damn thing off but i dont want to go that route again on a daily driver check out the rolla you will understand it on my profile
  15. Damn thats skill i can generally tell by touch if i cant see the sub but can feel the cone i can give generally at least guess the brand
  16. I take it they are dual 2 ohm subs correct
  17. nonot trying to stay under the window line trying to save as much space as possible the little cargor door thats back their i dont want to come past that and i need to put the amprack on top of the box to save space my friend had a similar setup i did for him lower en infinity stuff though heres a vid I want to replicate just bigger better equipment and no plexi cover of course this is gonna be my daily driver i want to have some room
  18. Ok then I will elaborate a little more into setup 2 optima yellow tops in the back large lead acid up front for batts, big 3 upgrade, 140amp alt it comes stock on the truck with the tow package, amp is a hifonics 1606d. All I want to do is be able to run bass race 130 to 139.9 I would like to have a little headroom if I get a small late start or some thing like that maybe a 143 is all im asking for
  19. ok so i'll be getting my truck soon damn money issues any way i worked on one today and got my measurement and it looks like im gonna end up with 3.5 cu ft internal volume in the box im going for a lite SQL set up any body think 3 Type R 12's will do in the low to mid 140's sealed in a 2005 and up trailblazer with proper power
  20. x2 bass box pro 6 for the win
  21. I just took mine off the day i bought the car and learned to drive without it the metal thing is still their but mirror is long since gone like 4 years gone
  22. sorry to hear that bro got jacked for like 4 grand a long time ago just remember that install is 99% of an alarms effectiveness. Make it look like you never did anything and never ever ever ever put the sticker of the aftermarket alarm company on your car dead giveaway of how to bypass it, but yeah that does suck sorry man
  23. Im gonna go ahead and x2 everyone and as a side note im gonna say that if that amp ever sees more than 500 watts rms or max you better have the fire department at the ready in other words BUY A NEW AMP ASAP
  24. Just throwin it out there you know I thought about it on the old car rf's dont like 16 thought they were able to till like 16.5 to 17
