X2 for sure-Grad from 2005, Jason is a great guy and very knowledgeable (Head Instructor). I've had a job for 4 years now and they tried to replace me twice they looked for 3 months each time and could not find anyone better that me. I'm kinda a dick to the higher ups. Just do yourself a favor don't think its the end all to end all, of you being an installer if and when you graduate. You gotta have a level head and don't think your gods gift to an install bay beacuse you wont be for awhile. But its a damn fine head start but even when you are done you will have a lot to learn good luck if you go Jville140db former II graduate.

I am thinking of selling my Bxi1606d and my Zxi6406 and getting The Rockford Punch P1000-1bd and the P400-4 any body think the rockfords will do better. The specs for the Hifonics are 1600rms at 1 ohm for the Bxi and 85rms x 4 at 4 Ohms for the Zxi The specs for the Rockfords are 1000rms at 1 ohn for the P1000-1BD and 50rms x 4 at 4 Ohms for the P400-4 But I know the Rockfords are under rated any insight would be helpful. Edit- I can get the Rockford's mad cheap almost cost that's why I am considering this. I can probably sell the Hifonic's for the cost of the new Rockford's

i would go with the alpine excellant build quality sound great and can get decently loud the kenwoods probably qomt hold up as well and the pioneers well lets just say that their is a reason you never see real competitors use them

i use a 18ga bradnailer for the box with liquid nail on all the inside seams and i use t30 torx head 1.5in screws for the subs

I remember my first dbdrag event my single 9500 mtx 15 with a hifonics 1606d at 2 ohms i was so worried and my showing sucked 135.7 @ god know what freq pretty freaking bad but still took home a first. That's a damn good showing for your first keep it up.

So I am at work and I get a call from a customer and he tells me he had an alarm installed. I say "ok where did you have it done". He said "one of your other stores". Customer then tells me he has multiple problems with it and wants to bring it in. So as per policy I tell him that he should take it back to the store that did it. He says no way I'm doing that and wants to bring it to our store. I'm like ok I'll poke my head in it and take a look but if you want it fixed it may take a few days for me to get to it because we are very busy. So he brings it in and I take a look no led, no valet button in sight so I take off the under dash panel and I see both of them hanging. So I'm like alright let me see what I can feel so I reach my hand up under the dash and sure enough I feel the brain and the main harness. So I give it a small tug and it falls like a fat kid running a 12k marathon. I'm like wtf so I look under the hood and sure enough the siren is just chilling I pull it off of its resting spot with just my hand and no tools. Damn it all so now I have to redo the entire install and on top of that we had to fix his clutch because they managed to break something on that. I just cant believe that someone would do that poor of a job and let it leave. I freaking wish I had pics. Oh the ign and starter wire were run to same place wtf. Just had to get that off my chest.

So about 2 weeks ago I got my 4th noise ticket and got popped for my suspended license that I knew nothing about being suspended. So I ripped everything out of the car im rollin stock deck two pioneer 2way 6.5 in speakers with bass blockers and a 12 in pioneer sub that is 150 rms with a ported box and an audiobahn 2chan amp bridged. Just sucks i promised myself I would sell most of the subs to buy my new truck but now i find myself craving the bass that I had before errrrrrrrrr what to do. I am going to wait till I get the truck to do anything. I hate the tickets should I put in what I want and deal with the cops as they come or go small to avoid the hassle. AHHHHHH I hate these stupid laws.
