  1. What's the minimum size that I should put a 18" Q in. I don't have room for a 6 cube box, and maybe not even a 5 cube. I've got a tiny ass cargo area, so I'm kind of limited.
  2. Lol...just found out by looking at Fi's site, that there is no way in hell I'm going to be able to fit an 18 in my tiny ass honda without making my box higher than my seats or removing my back seats or walling it in. I HATE MY SMALL CAR!!! Although the 15" is looking more tasty now. Lol. I just want that damn 18. Haha. If I got the 18" version, I'd be starving it of space. It'd be crammed in a less than 5 cube box and that's not what I want. I want to get everything I can out of the bastard...lol. So the 15" looks better now, in my opinion. But perhaps, if I do some remeasuring, I might be able to find a cube or two in there.
  3. I'd need a big ass alternator...which no one seems to make for my car! And in all honesty, if I'm gonna go with two 18s, I'd rather have a car that will allow me to add those parts so I can actually do work. Or I can get a professional shop to install multiple smaller alternators.
  4. I'm planning on getting the 18 Q...although I think the 15" will fit better in my car. I'm boned on cargo space...so I can't fit a large box into it without having to do something to the rear seats.
  5. My car is way to fucking small for two 18s. If I did two 18s, I'd have to knock out the back seat and wall them in. If it got to that point, I'd have a new car with alot more options to make it better (i.e. better selection of alternators, more stuff, etc.). 1 18 actually sounds cheaper. And good to see you on here EXO.
  6. I'm trying to decided. I'll be running a 1500 watt amp and I'm trying to figure out the dimensions for their respective boxes as we speak. I want the 18, because it'll pound the lows and the two 12s, well that's just easier on me, I can manage them easier (I can throw them in my cheap ass prefab until I have my good box built). I'll have either the two 12s or the 1 18 wired to 1 ohm so I can get the most power out of my future amp. If it was up to you, which would you go with, and what size box would you put them in?
  7. Put the 1 12 in the right box, tune it right, put enough power through it, and it should be able to keep up with the two cheap kenwoods.
  8. Damn, wish I had the space for those monsters. I'm stuck with my weak ass kenwoods for the time being. RAWR!!! If I hadn't hit a gate and scratched and dented the hell out of my left rear door, I'd have an order for two of these.
  9. Lol...it looks like crap on here, but I'm impressed for a low end system like that. And in all honesty, I slipped up today. The only time I crank it up is when I'm driving down a highway, sitting in the parking lot when one of my friends asks to hear it (at school...where no one cares how loud you are), or when I'm in the middle of no where. I never blast my music when I'm in a neighborhood. And like I said, I didn't have it turned up. My head unit goes to 35...and I had it at about 17...and my windows were only cracked. So, whatever you know. Lol. I don't expect to get off easy next time...hopefully there isn't a next time. Oh, and the cop was pretty cool. And also, like what RN916 said, I hate people who roll up to a stop light or pull into a gas station blasting their shit. Me, I turn my stuff down, even if my windows are up.
  10. Well, what I meant by that was, when he pulled me over I didn't know what it was for, until I realized, "oh shit, it's my music."
  11. All I got was a warning. Pretty simple, but still. For my first time getting pulled over, I was pretty freaked out. I didn't know what to think. Lol.
  12. Yeah, got pulled over today and got my first ticket because my music was too loud. Bullshit! I barely even had it turned up. Lol. Now I have a story to tell.
  13. Scratch that. After digging through the comments on the video, I finally found a post that had both.
  14. Damn...the choices....the choices. Autotek still looks mighty tasty, but I might just get the Audiopipe. It all depends on if I can fit it behind my box or not. Might have to attach it to the box again, which I don't want to do. > _ <
  15. When you get it installed, let me know what you think about it. At the moment, the Autotek SM1-1500 is looking like my number one choice right now. The Audiopipe is close second. Reason I'm leaning towards the SM1-1500, is that my friend has one with two similar subs to what I have and damn do they sound good.
  16. I've looked at the Sundown's on here before. Again, a tad out of my price range...and for now, I'm just gonna stick with the subs I have, so I don't wanna go overboard with my amp, and then be like, "wtf do I do now," around this time next year when I plan on upgrading my entire system. And that audiopipe is looking mighty tasty as well.
  17. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_18714_...k+SM1-1000.html Another amp that I found interesting. And it's bigger brother: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_18715_...k+SM1-1500.html I'm actually leaning towards the SM1-1500. Looks like a good amp. Yes?
  18. Between the KAC-9104D and the BXi1210D, which would you go with? Yeah, they're great amps and all, but way they hell out of my price range. And also, neither of them are stable to 1 ohm.
  19. Roughly 200 bucks, give or take. Will probably save up for awhile so when I buy it, I still have cash left over. So I'd say within the 200 dollar range. I know it's a limited field, but there are quality amps out there in that range...right?
  20. Well, any amps along the lines of what the PA "says" it's putting out and roughly in the same price range?
