i looked thru your build pics of the bmw and i see the cut out for the ski hole where you ran the wires thru thats what needs to be removed

i dont have ski hole, but i might have precut maybe? looks a lil different from mines but same concept the factory doesnt cut the ski hole out and it looks like you have the leather flap that covers it if you decide to remove it i had the same in mines and once i removed the metal i just cut the foam behind the seat around the ski hole and used the leather flap to cover it hope this helps

if u have the ski hole covered cut it out i did it in my bmw and it made a world of difference
