Im doing 2 xl 10's on a 5k. DC 270Xpm 1 XS 1200 and 2 Xs 6500's. I want a 47-48.

Taking suggestions for midrange speakers. Size can be 3,4, or 5 inch. They must be able to play the 300-6500hz range. Can't be cheapies, but inexpensive is good.

If you take up 1 extra cube with bracing, port area should be in a sweet spot, and tuning will only change to 33.3. The subs might like the box more, too.

As far as making them removable, you can use gorilla tape to attach the inside flare to the tube. To remove them, you would need to remove a sub first and take it apart and slide it out. For port area, it is near the smaller end of the spectrum, but should still work well. Most the time, you can use less area with aero's than a standard port.

6" would be best, but as little as 4" should be okay. With the depth you have it'll be fine.

Can you fit 4 6" ports? 4 of them at 14" long would give you a tuning of 32 and 13.05 net volume. Might be a little on the big side.

Looked again, and it seems the picture for the 585 might not be accurate on the XS site. Maybe someone from XS could send me an actual product picture, and a price, too.

I've been searching for a battery tray big enough for my 2 6500 batteries. I figured best bet would be like RV stores, no luck so far. The billet hold downs (585)from XS are cool, but won't work with my buss bars. The 6500 is WIDE at 7.2". I need a tray that is 14.5"x12" to fit the 2 side-by-side. Anybody know where to look? Please don't say make one. I don't have access to the necessary tools to cut and weld angle.
