    I should have known better than to sell to a noob here. Sold him my epicenter160 9 days ago and he has already filed a claim with Paypal because he hasn't got it yet.     Your port area is plenty. If you're using aeroports, you only need 6-10 sq in per cube, not 12-16. This is the effeciancy of aero ports.

    Also, I know some companies will take your order and send you the invoice. You then start making payments against that invoice. They won't send you the alt until the invoice is payed off, but at least you don't spend the money on other stuff.

    A couple months ago I fried my xl. Around the same time, my check engine light came on, I reset that with no problems. A couple weeks later messing with my big 3, I noticed that the wire from alt to batt had come apart at the fuse. So, my question is would that sudden drop in power from the alt lead to a chain of events that would send a heavily clipped signal to my sub and kill it? This was a couple months back, don't know why Im thinking about it now lol.

    Sorry to thread jack, but how would you know how any volts to give an amp. My line driver adjusts between 2 and 11 volts.
