  1. So you want to take the 6x9 boxes apart and use what you can? Or only use the wood from the boxes? Cause there is not enough material there I think. you would be splicing pieces together.
  2. If you were somehow able to get that together and be stable, it would be extremely small. Not even sure that is possible.
  3. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/hairtrick.gif http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/hairtrick.gif http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/hairtrick.gif DAMN!!!
  4. A lawn mower that could cut an entire football field in 30 seconds. HAHA.
  5. How did you like the sound quality out of a ported box with those? I am thinking about getting some in my ranger. Sorry to go off topic. Looks like it was a sweet setup.
  6. Not sure exactly what you are asking. Make a sub box out of the 6x9 boxes? Or the 6x9 boxes made you think about building a new box?
  7. That's a pretty strong statement. Must be pretty damn good speakers.
  8. I see you have Focal in there. Are they really all they're cracked up to be?
  9. You're welcome. After all, we're all here to help each other out right?
  10. Someone correct me if I dont explain this correctly. It is used to match up signal from the HU to the output of the amp. It is one of the knobs on the amp itself(also referred to as input sensitivity). Along with your HPF/LPF.
  11. Now were talkin'. I've never used alpine amps but that should be great. Just set gain properly and you are good to go.
  12. That is a monoblock(1 channel) amp(used for subs). You will want a 4 channel. Like this? Click Here
  13. NP. I am not familiar with many amps but I have had great success with my RF T400-4 and that would power those speakers nicely.
  14. May not "blow them" but damage can be done. Halfway mark? I'll admit, I am guilty of the "ear" method but using an o-scope or DMM is the true way to set gains.
  15. Is that 37 out of 40, or, between 37 and 40? Usually you should never turn your head unit all the way up. If it starts popping at 37 then dont go ever 36 You will do damage if you do that too much. Try using the EQ to give less emphasis on the lower frequencies. See how that works. If you want to go louder, get a good 4 ch amp to push them.
  16. Do you have a lot of bass going through them? You can drive them to over excursion and cause damage from blasting bass heavy stuff without the power to control them.
  17. I actually had the previous year model of those (SPS-69C2). They took a couple weeks of daily commuting for the tweets to settle down a bit. An amp will help them sound much better, and louder too.
  18. As long as your electrical is sufficient then that should work well. I have a T1500-1BD and my birthsheet said 1222 watts rms at 2 ohm.
  19. My digi fuse block would shut off after a few minutes of no volt change, and come back on with volt change(starting the engine or bumpin with the engine off). LEDs draw very little power. In the milliamps somewhere (dont know exactly). It would take a long time for that to discharge your bat. How long exactly? Hope someone else can share that info. It wont be overnight thats for sure.
  20. Do you mean 1942? Or is there another sequel I don't know about? Edit: Oops just realized it was xbox.
  21. I just bought my yellow top a couple months ago too before I had this build in mind. :shot:
