  1. they look like monter trucks on crack. lol hella nice work though for sure.
  2. i have never used areo ports before. i want to though. when your sub sounds like chit on the lows its more than likly cause the sub is trying to play lower than what the box is tuned at. which is very harsh on the sub. try plugging a port and see if theres a difference. by doing that the tuning of the box will drop lower. also is your enclosure free of any leaks? beleave it or not theres more air pressure inside a ported box than a sealed. every kind of enclosure needs to be perfectly air tight, accept infinite baffle of cource.
  3. was your current box designed right? 4 4" port seems like alot. if you just threw some pvc in and didnt design right, your sub prob sounds bad, like its in free air.
  4. it will go away its more than likly the glue on the voice coil. after awhile the glue becomes like a crusty shell and wont smell anymore. every new sub i have owned smelled almost like beef jerky. but went away. i would make sure your gain is set right, and not to push it to hard once it starts to smell. i turned my shit off whenever i smelled the glue burning. but only had to do that about 3 or 4 times and it stopped.
  5. sub up and port firing forward?.....sub and port firing back or forward. just my 2 cents. the picture with the port across the bottom looks like a enclosure i made once. but it went into a astro van
  6. do you have the t/s parameters on that sub?
  7. im not a big fann of led lights every time i see some i think of those annoying raver people moving to some gay trance music. but your the trend setter big dog...speaking of trends whats up with these high school kids wearing lil kid backpacks with some kiddy cartoon shit, crazy funny ....poor kids will regret it when they get older. ..lol anyways mr. meade those rims are dope period....
  8. well i upgraded the stock alt with a 200+ alt. i know this amp will pull twice as much sometimes. waiting for $$$$ for a second alt and bracket. maybe you can help me out making a bracket bro. i quess he will have to run the truck for a few minutes before listen to the radio. 2marrow i will get a second run of wires. thanks
  9. how much of a difference you think it makes running 2 vs 1 run of wire. im running 1 run now to a memphis mojo (4000 watts rms) and im getting dimming of the lights . if i ran a second wire that would fix my problem right? asumming all my connections are good. also there are two yellow tops in the back and one red under the hood. power being feed to 4 brahma 15s. edit: im running one run of 2/0 gauge welding wire
  10. thanks that is what i was looking for. one more question would you get the same reading if the two wire were different lengths? just wondering
  11. i beleave there are alot of myths in the car audio world to just beleave what someone else tells me. for example the myth you have to run your rca wire on one side and power on the other. i have mine zip tied together without any problems.
  12. i understand that but unless the 2 wires were the same length (perfectly) then there would be a wire with a cunt hair less resistance so electricty would choose that one.
  13. i was thinking why do people run 2 power and 2 grounds from under the hood to the back. from what i understand it would be a waste cause electricty take the path of least resistance. so electricty wouldnt go threw both wires just one.. right?
  14. those subs would sound nice in a t-line... a huge t-line kick a55 subs man. what did they cost? if you dont mind me asking.
