  1. thanks for the suggestions guys, ill pass them on... but i would venture to say most of them are already planned, there is alot of work left to be done. he really just got the base layed out today
  2. the site has been revamped, and is ~60% complete... when complete each individual item will have a full description if you click on it. www.4xspower.com please give it a look and let us know what you think thanks, Derek...
  3. twas good... im workin my way down on food, at one time (during football) i was eating 7-8k per day easy, now i do 5k per day tops
  4. 6 sausage biscuits from mcdonalds, two apples, two pieces of toast, and about a half gallon of water
  5. overheating isnt the issue... its just that the older XS-Volt units put out very little amperage at idle... so you wouldnt want it charging your starting batt. if used as a seconday batt you would need to bring up the engine RPM to play with the alt charging (if your vehicle is parked that is)
  6. these are fully regulated via microprocessors... it "could" be used in a daily driven vehicle but i couldnt justify cost unless i was a hardcore racer and needed the benifits that the lithium units have to offer
  7. it makes your car fly on a more serious note, its an extrememly strong battery in a very very small package
  8. Got Ten S3400's boxed up and ready to go out today for an order... we just got these done and in stock Monday with the Billet Top & Bottom Plate... mmm so secksy First two boxed up ready to go and a sneak peek at one of the newest additions to the XS power family: 6.18 pounds!!!! Lithium is so full of win!
  9. im sure he did, but what about it? i know dennis had to work on it... has something changed since the last time i talked to you about it?
  10. ha... thanks man, scottie sent me over to help out in this forum...
  11. that is a vauge chart but is very effective at giving rough estimates at lower power levels, but when you step up into the realm of rediculous power (5k +) there are just too many variables to give a blanket statement on how many batts are needed for XXXX amount of power And OP, if your wanting to do this on music i would reccomend 5-6 considering youve also got a bagged truck with pumps and such... so that would add some extra stress to the charging system
  12. our dealer locator is currently out of commision, we are trying to get it up and running again asap also, if you cant get ahold of Mechman i can also sell batteries factory direct
  13. if used as a secondary alt this could be used for a DD... will it be charging a 16v or 12v setup?
  14. that piece of paper is added as a precaution because we have no idea how long our batteries will sit at a distributor (IE: Summit, Jegs, Motorstate, etc...) without being charged... i reccomend checking the resting voltage of your battery before you install it, if voltage is above 12.7 then throw it in, if not then charge the batt just to be safe
