  2. I like that. you have a $40,000 truck, but you are young enough to not be trusted under the hood by your parents. Ballin.
  3. yeah I have a pair of them and I'm looking to add 2 more pairs to the ride. I am not a competitor, but I am very happy with their products. I haven't had a single issue, and with their prices, you can't go wrong.
  4. so people don't criticize 3 way speakers, they just criticize 6 x 9 ones? Thanks allot, wanted to clear that one up.
  5. hey could you change mine to Tek. I don't like my last name all over the fuckin place now that I think about it lol. Thanks.
  6. I have heard allot of criticism regarding 6x9s. I was wondering if it is just 6x9s that are bad, or is it ALL 3 way speakers? I don't need an explanation why they are bad so don't decide to not answer because you are in a hurry or something.
  7. I listen to the G-Unit one, fuckin amazing.
  8. I'm 17 and got it for a birthday present so it's nowhere near top of the line. It's a Dual Audio XDVD-8181
  9. I have a motorized flip out in dash HU in my car. When it is open, the screen is in front of 2 vents. It worries me sometimes that the constant hot or cold air may harm the head unit, and I don't have an exta $500 laying around if it breaks. Is this bad for the radio or do I have nothing to worry about? Thanks, Sam
  10. Bucks career is over now. nice move on his part.
  11. I'm going to tell you straight up that you need to make sure you get LED lights. Colored lights will slowly turn back to white. You can find LED lights on ebay, or you can go to www.V-LEDs.com
  12. I know far too little to do the BIG ONE.
  13. I can go 40/26/26. I am willing to do alot for the port to work. Any ideas?
  14. yeah but the thing is I already have 2 of them and to be honest, I love them and they are louder then my friends set of Kicker L5's, even though he has a ported box and mine is sealed. I am satisfied with what I have for now, and don't want to make any upgrades in regards to the subwoofer untill Im ready for it to be a BIG one. What kind of dimensions are you talking for this port though? That calculator is confusing as fuck. Keep in mind Im 17 and fail math like its going out of style.
  15. I need to make a ported/vented box for 6 12" Hifonics HFi12D4's. I want the dimensions of 40" wide, 24" tall, and 26" deep, all the subs facing upward. I can make the box, I just am clueless of what to do about the ports. I just want it to be tuned to be as loud as I can get it. I know they are budget subs but oh well. But could anyone PLEASE help me design the ports. I don't know if I need to make a separate port for each sub, if I need to chamber every sub, I just need help on this part. The work you guys do is so amazing and I just want to get started by doing something like this. Thank you SO much, Sam P.S. Sub Specs: # RMS Power Range : 300 Watts # Peak Power Handling: 600 Watts # Impedance: Dual 4 Ohm # Diameter: 12 Inch # 12-Inch DVC Subwoofer # High-Energy Magnet # For Ported or Sealed Enclosures # Black Polypropylene Cone # Poly-Mica Cone Damping # Chrome Speaker Frame # Multi-Layer High-Temp VC # Front-Plate & Voice-Coil Cooling # Integrated Spider Tinsel-Lead Design # Hi-Excursion Rubber Surround # High-Strength Suspension Material # Push & Insert Wire Terminals # Anti-Resonant Rubber Magnet Boot # Brand New # 3 Year warranty
