Looks pretty good. Custom Boom Box FTW. I did something similar with a pair of $20 Walmart 6x9's, a used $20 amp that output about 50x2 @ 4 ohms (best guess based on what I found, the amp was in excellent shape), and a small lawn mower battery. I could play for up to 4 hours on a full charge. Believe it or not, it beat pretty good. It massaged my back very well . But it was quite heavy. I even added an ipod charger and play time only dropped to 3 hours. I need to get another battery, the components are scattered around my house and it's just missing a battery and some new wire.

Yes. I bought a new one and had a shop professionally install it. Counting install, I spent $300. 1 week of sitting in the sun for 4 hours the cloth started sagging. I bought another and the same thing happened. I pulled the headliner and pulled the sagging cloth off. It turns out the factory only sprayed adhesive only on the edges and not in the center (the fabric came attached from the manufacturer). I cleaned off all the foam (WD-40 FTW) and recoated the plastic with 2 layers of roll-on truck bedliner. I also installed heat insulation between the roof and the headliner. I have not had problems since. I have left the windows rolled all the way up and had it sit in the sun for 8 hours without anything going wrong. The temp inside has yet to pass 85 degrees F. Even when the outside temp is nearly 100 degrees. Oh, and the factory cardboard will not hold up to heat very well. After a few years (like 4) mine started sagging. I had it reinstalled with new adhesive and it held for a good while, then the adhesive finally let go. I would personally suggest finding one made of ABS plastic, preferably one that looks in good condition from a junkyard.

No. From what I hear that alarm's not due to be released until October. So that ebay seller is probably not being honest. EDIT: Can't spell. Ocotobler, that's funny! -
If I could get a holt of one and some money, I would so add motors to the wheels were I could roll around. But that would cost several hundred. It'd sill be cool.

Not to mention that after the thumb gets cut off, he stops for a second, pulls his hand back, and then pushes it some more. -

A good way to save on power would be to use LEDs for everything except the headlights. It'll save power (albeit burn a hole in your pocketbook). Just my recommendation. Seems like your setup looks pretty good from what I can see. I think Second Skin is still running their thrid promotion. I'm not sure if it's too late to enter or not, though.

I was thinking of woofersetc. Too many sites to keep track of. I'm looking at something that can be reconed. Can the Mach5?

Never heard of the site that was linked. I'm about to PM Rusty (unless I chicken out).

I'm hoping to go through with this one. I can only spare about $200 a month, but I'm going to try and get as many hours at work as I can. I'm hoping I can get overtime for more money.

The subs won't fit behind the seats. It's gonna be T shaped, kinda like basshead08's, but biger. The sub is going in the center console box firing forward with one 4" port per cube of space. I'm not doing a blowthrough because I need the bed.
