  1. MY thoughts would be...........DO IT! Their is a lot of knowledge on this board and people ready to help in any way. You will not be in the dark on your build all you have to do is ask. What are your plans, what would you like to do? It would be cool to see a big wall behind the front seats and for the crew doors, when opened, the amp racks would show.
  2. Looking good dude! Your bud is going to be a happy thumper! Nice saw horses, look like mine.
  3. A buddy of mine had 3 12" Eclipse and a DD amp...........it was nasty and banged around 50-60hz. You will be running more power with the T2000. What kind of music do you listen to and what hertz do you want to stay around?
  4. The "wire" link between the battery and the fuse is the dangerous section. If this link should get crimped or ground out somehow, ...say good by to something! You learn the hard way. Keep that fuse as close as posible and keep the wire free from getting crimped. Also keep it fasten down somehow.
  5. Any reason why you HAVE to use 6x9's? I assume you are replacing stock. Better off getting a component set and make a template/speaker adapter to fit the location. This way if you get rid of the vehicle, keep your stuff, the components are going to go anywhere while the 6x9's have it's limits. Not to mention the sound Q will be better.
  6. This thing is heavy! It's a pretty good chunk of aluminum. The best thing about a high current amp,......it loves voltage and is clean power. We had 36volts to it playing through 8 Pioneer 10's, but had it metered with it at 12v with a 144db All the caps in it are 50volt
  7. Here is a pic of mine. It has a cap to cover the wires and also used 2, 30amp fuses on each side. It is basicly 2 amps in one that can be briged together for a load 2ohms. 1 ohm seperate
  8. i used BOBCAD and if I had a CNC big enough I would machine it using the CAM side. Nice work on the sketchup! Now build something!
  9. That amp would be great for some high end components or some high quality SQ subs. Class A amp
  10. Back at my old house, around drug central, a man was holding his wife at gun point with an uzi. The couple was a backdoor neighbor. The cops shut the streets down, and the S.W.A.T. team was deployed. It was cool! The swat team came in the big armour car, marched around the house, and shot tear gas into the house. Busted out every window! It was cool! You just never know what goes on behind closed doors!
  11. If you have lived together for the last 3 1/2 years,....get married, but if you have not, make her wait.
  12. If I call correctly.....those subs actually produced a decible 1w/1m over 88db's
  13. One quick wiff of the old sniffer and I can tell!.....
  14. Could be a faulty product. It is possible some of the components were not soldered good or grounded good. lots of smoke = vented caps.
  15. What will it be used for? Mids & highs? Subs? or both? I can't see using it with just subs, But for sure M&H and subs together
  16. More than a mouth full is a waste.......? Right?
  17. Their is something wrong with a little sex It's not enough.........hehehehehe
  18. Usually if the company is having to sell it with sex,...........it's the only way the consumer will look.
  19. Look for some work shirts (Dickies) at Wal-mart and get some Printable IRON ONS. This way you can make the design on a few shirts. Most graphic shops want to do a certain amount of shirts or price. This way you can get a few shirts and experiment before you head to the graphic shop:)
