  1. For sq I would start out with dayton audio or maby seas or scan speak if your budget alows.
  2. And any kenwood deck is great. Their cheapest hu's have more tuning capabilities than allot of the higher priced units from other companies.and don't forget, runing your doors active is manditory for a sq system!
  3. If you want the best, put together your own components and build your own crossovers. Check out madisound or parts express for the raw drivers. It will definitly be worth in in the end if you can do it this way
  4. The new one is superior to the old, othewise why would they remake it?
  5. That's a diferent lightnigng audio. In fact, there have been three companies different companies named lightning audio. This one hapend to be made by tc sounds
  6. Same thing hapend to my friend. All he neded was a new batery. His voltage was 14.2 also so it took some time to figur it out. Just trya new batery
  7. More than likely you will be louder with a single sub. The Reason you don't mix subs is because they will start canceling eachother out.
  8. Te only diference you will notice would be durability. You won't notice a diference in sound quality. Shielded isn't nesicery either because in car audio you are working with a 2 volt output from typical headunit. Unless you have a head unit that only puts out milivolts of preamp signal, don't buy into the "sheilded rca's are beter" hype. 2 volts is enough to not be afected by any induced current in a car
  9. If you want to get the flatest response I would go seald. And seald can also be loud too. If you go ported u would tune to anythin between 28 and 31 hz for the flatest response.
  10. Ssa xcons for subs and dc power for the alternators run off a sundow 3500d. That would be a great daily set
  11. In a coupe, 4 15's is not going to happen. I would just go with 2 15's. And would you even have the electrical to support a system like that.
  12. Hotel california santeria- sublime hard to concentrate- red hot chili pepers Intermezzo liberte- arch enemy cluster one- pink Floyd Fade to black- metallica til we die- slipknot circle- slipknot vermilion pt 2- slipknot ok well there are some good sq songs I know of
  13. The Dayton audio shallow neo subs seem to be great from parts express
  14. Sounds like physics. Don't forget resistance increases with tempeture
  15. Why do you want to know?but anyway stiffer linear roll spiders are normaly used more for spl to keep things under control under high power. The softer ones with the progressive rolls are normaly used for high excursion drivers or lower powered soud quality oriented drivers.
  16. Check out American raceing, they might have what you are looking for.
