Maybe it's just cuz I'm new to this and haven't seen that many pics of the mags but I thought it looked crazy awesome from the start, so I guess it must be a really unique design.

its just that one sub......are they in a shared chamber, cuz if they are I would go light on them till you get it moving the same as the others, otherwise you could mess em all up.

the sub in the rear to the right looks like it needs to be screwed to the box better....other than that looks loud and low....more vids!

Rockford or Sundown or similar FTW....Get quality amps, they will make an enormous difference

It's worth the extra money, those are two subs I definitely have experience with, and the BLs perform...I give mine 1450 wrms for hours no sweat, and they sound good as hell....

Wiring or tuning seem obvious, but that doesn't explain the bottoming out.....are you positive the port has enough room to let air through...you may be choking the sub....I would say with that set up you will see at least 143 on a tl, so something is definitely wrong.

wasn't really impressed till I saw the door, roof, and hatch start to move....looks like you have some good bump man, especially considering the brand.

I still believe the hoopty has a spare db or two that careful tuning can bring it up,...and 3 dbs is twice as loud....not to mention the hoopty isn't really a wall and still has an assload more air space to fill...the tl just measures pressure in the vehicle, so air space is a huge factor. Not trying to diss, but it is how I see those subs can get so loud....also they might be tuned high, I didn't see what the box was tuned to anywhere.

did I mention the wall....that's why its so high, steve has more than double the air space to fill, so if Steve was to go with a similar set up, it would probably be louder

We came up with a design, that makes rum and coke on the rocks....of course the rum will be replace with cherry flavor at school.....but then I will take it home and have a party. LOL pics when it is built.

If you sell the Jl amp you can probably get a much more efficient one for with a little more than the money you will get from the sale....
