i have the album ripped in flac and it is not clipped. you should def buy it if you like it.

idk about purchased itunes songs b/c i would never buy song on there, but what i do to convert is go to (edit/ preferences/ import setting.../ importing using) select mp3 then u should be able to right click on songs to convert them to mp3s hope that helps ppl
