  1. 600 too much? I've got an MTX RFL600D w/bass knob.
  2. I've got an MTX RFL600D w/bass knob I'm trying to sell for $100 shipped.
  3. Offers? (No lowballing, not looking for trades at this time)
  4. Are you stuck on a 12" or 15"? I've got a 10" Level 3 hybrid (built with a Lvl 3 motor) for sale: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/89895-custom-built-10-sub-for-sale/ Only has about an hour of easy play time on it using 600 watts. It's a beastly little thing.
  5. Well, life happens, so I’m having to sell off my system. First up is an MTX RFL600D with bass knob. It is rated at 300x1@ 4 ohms and 600x1@2 ohms. The original cable for the knob had a short in it, but I do have a replacement. Unfortunately, the power light doesn’t come on using this cable, but the knob does work just fine otherwise. According to MTX’s website, it uses an RJ45 style plug. (The amp will be removed this weekend, I just didn’t have time to do it today.) Next up is a 10” SSA Dcon. This sub is only a few months old and I’ve never pushed it extremely hard. Last is the enclosure for the Dcon. It was built to SSA’s specifications for optimal Dcon performance. The box is 1.25 cubes tuned to 30hz. Dimensions are: 12.5” tall x 14.5” deep x 25” wide. Prices are as follows: MTX-$110 shipped to the lower 48 only. Dcon-$115 shipped to the lower 48 only. Enclosure-$110 delivered if you are in the Topeka, Kansas area. I really don’t want to ship this, as it’s extremely heavy. If someone really wants to pay shipping I’ll do it, but if I calculated it correctly, shipping is going to be around 40 or 50 dollars. Shipping would be to the lower 48 only. If you are local I’ll sell the entire setup for $300 delivered. I've got 100% positive feedback on Ebay, both as a buyer and seller. If you'd like the link, just let me know. I've also got a feedback thread on here. Just check my signature.

  7. Yeah, I know he's been busy. Just making sure I didn't get lost in the shuffle.
  8. Has anyone seen ssackett? I bought a sub from him in November of last year. I ended up frying one of the tinsel leads and sent it back to him for repairs. If I remember correctly I sent it back in March, but I can't recall for sure. It's now almost October and I still don't have my sub back. I got an email from him a few months ago saying he was finishing it up and would ship it out at the end of the week, but I never received it. I've tried several emails and PMs but still can't get ahold of him. If anyone knows him personally, could you find out what's up? I'll take the sub back in whatever condition it's in, fixed or not. I'll even take a refund, partial or whatever. Dan
  9. www.galls.com And like was already mentioned, check with your local ordinances. Around here we need lights to be visible front and back, have an accompanying siren and be approved by the county commissioners. There are a few other state laws that apply, but I don't know them off the top of my head.
  10. I'm selling this because I'll be ordering my new sub and box in the next week or so. I can't remember how old the sub is (around 5 years or so) and the box is only a few months old. I ordered it from Sonic Electronix and it's one of the better prefab boxes I've seen. Very solid. 1.21 cubic feet internal volume. The carpet has a few snags in it, but they are barely noticeable. Last picture is the only one I've got of it out of the box. It's next to a modified 10" DC Level 3. Asking for $20 PLUS shipping for the sub, $30 PLUS shipping for the box, or $60 SHIPPED for the two.
  11. Midwest SPL will be at Autosound in Topeka, KS this Saturday, July 17th (my birthday ). Show starts at 4:00. Hopefully the cops won't shut it down this time.
  12. Kids think they are invincible. I know I did a lot of stupid stuff as a teenager, and I look back and thank God that nothing ever happened to me. A few weeks ago we were at my wife's grandparent's house (they live out in the country) and a big SUV came flying by with two teens ON THE FUCKING ROOF!! The girl driving had to be doing at least 50mph, and the road is gravel and not exactly smooth. Like I said, I did a lot of stupid stuff, but never anything like that.
  13. I looked at a Trailblazer about six months ago and it had TONS of room inside. Cargo area was huge. I kind of wish I had gone with it instead of the Saturn Vue, but I get much better gas mileage with the Vue. Don't know much about the Explorer, but I know a guy that has driven nothing but Ford SUVs for probably the last 10-15 years, so they must not be all that bad.
  14. Midwest SPL is having a triple point show in Ottawa, KS this Saturday, 6/19/10, at Forest Park. Show starts at 4:00 pm.
  15. I think I've figured something out, but I'll have to do some playing around with it to see how it will work. Hopefully I can get it done in the next few weeks.
  16. Looks like there's going to be a good turnout from the SMD members.
  17. Cool. Hopefully I'll find you so I can get a demo. I really want to hear some Sundown subs.
  18. Welcome to the club. As was said before, it's all downhill from here.
