Ill let it go for 80 bucks oh yeah its 8gb, shoot me a pm
  2. dc level 4 15 144.1db

  3. negative progress. I pulled the fiber glass right off with out a problem. It didnt stick too well. This time im going to drill a shitload of holes in the sail
  4. well its too late now for that lol, we will see how it looks in the morning,
  5. i havent had a problem yet. Although when i was ready to start glassing i looked at the brush and went fuckkk this is foam. I think it ended up working out for me because it is such a small piece. Its getting pretty well set up right now but i noticed it might be pealing up a little. If that happens will i be able to tear it up and try again?
  6. alright guys here is my first attempt at fiber glassing. By unfairtebo at 2010-09-17 By unfairtebo at 2010-09-17 By unfairtebo at 2010-09-17
  7. all guys keep is civil. Im starting a build log of my sail panels as soon my pictures get uploaded so please dont post here anymore and look for my new thread
  8. i dont have the component set for the rear YET, but today i am going to start on the drivers side sail panel. Im off to gather supplies my camera will be at the ready!
  9. sorry about the confusion about the sail panels. I am putting a another component set in my rear doors, so the tweeter will be mounted with the flush mount idea. In the front im going to make fiber glass sail panels for the tweeters, unless now that you mention it i could apply the same idea from the back doors to the a pillar. Hmm ive got some thinking to do. thanks guys
  10. Alright guys i have been kind of wanting to do some small fiber glassing projects because i have never done it before and want to give it a shot. I am going to make some fiber glass sail panels for my front tweeters and would like to make use of the flush mount tweeter thing in my comp set. I figure i can lay down the tape and foil like usual and then attach the tweeter mount and fiber glass around it. Then i would drill a hole in the molded fiber glass to attach it to my door panel. I plan to mount the tweeter towards the left of the handle and up a little bit. Anything i could be doing wrong or should i rethink that mounting spot? any advice would be sweet. 11. ive got a level 4 15 with all lvl 4 parts and im running an ap1500 no problems. Other than some small voltage drop
  12. the gp looks pretty damn good lol. Thought i would be the first to comment it.
  13. Got some updates for the build. I got my new battery installed today, duralast gold. I was able to get my gain up a little bit more which is always good. I got a coat of black paint on the box just so it doesnt look like ghetto shit until i get time to coat it right. I was having problems with the equalizer i think it is starting to go on me so i cut the ground on the eq and tapped it off and switched my rca's back to the head unit. Sounds good now possibly pictures tomorrow
  14. ROUGHLY 32hz and I say roughly because i messed up installing the port a little so it may have given me a slightly lower tuning which i am fine with. Im sure it will get louder and lower once i get my electrical bumped up. So far all i have is the big 3 and stock batt. I have to pay off a ticket this coming thursday then after that i am upgrading the stock batt to a duralast gold and putting a small battery under the passenger seat. Probably guna go with xs power for that one
  15. ask and you shall receive here is the video. Might upload the other one later.
  16. Funds are drained at the moment. My focus at the moment is putting gas in it to drive the stores i need to reset. I do intend on buy some legit sound dampening material when i get some more money saved, as for the coating i am going to bondo or use something else to fill the screw holes from the counter sink. Then I am going to paint it black after that either dupli color spackle paint or dupli color truck bed liner. Still haven't decided.
  17. Uploaded with ImageShack.us sub and amp are in! no pictures of the box itself but it turned out okay. I have some more sanding to do on the port opening because i had to cut the double with a jigsaw. I sanded a bit today after work an locked my license plate down. Also put some peel n seal on my license plate and used what i had left from my rear doors on part of the trim panel of the hatch because i was getting some shitty rattling from it. Who knows i might have shit done later in the week depending on work goes
  18. Got me a tracking number for my sub and amp has been ordered. I chose the ap1500. I am going to hopefully finish up the box sunday and monday. Pics to come when i get back from the outer banks
  19. Ive seen this posted many times and i finally have to reply... I had my type r 6.5s in my rear deck for over a year, with subs/sub in the trunk the whole time, the type r 6.5s are still running good in the rear doors of my new car. Ive never had a problem.
  20. By unfairtebo at 2010-07-08 By unfairtebo at 2010-07-08 Just tossed the port in to see what it will look like, so far so good but there is one piece im off by little on my cuts so im going to have get me some fiber glass resin and get goin.
  21. Got some of the box put together tonight, ran out of screws so it going to have to wait a week while im on vacation. Pics soon
  22. Not too sure on the batteries, but what I am thinking right now is either keeping stock battery and adding hc800 under passenger seat or replacing stock with an xs power d5100. As for the sub amp is going to be an ap1500 which I will be ordering wednesday of next week while im on vacation. Mb quart discus series for the speakers currently wired to 2 ohms to the front 2 ohms to the back. It does 160 at 2 ohms. I got all of the wood cut today and hope to have some of it put together later but I need to spend some time with the woman. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  23. Ive heard it all before, saline, anti bacterial soap, alcohol, and hydrogen peroxide. Which is the best though? I just got one of my nips pierced on a whim and was just wondering what you all think. Ive always cleaned my gauges and shit with hydrogen peroxide.
