Alright guys im thinking about selling my level 4 15 and buy two audioque sd2.5 15s. I want to double check and see if i could fit a box that big. My max dimensions are 24 tall 21 deep and 37 wide. I was hoping to be able to do subs up port towards the hatch that will be deadened to no end.

im still new to amp rise i have one question. Does imp rise get greater with a higher starting impedance? i clamped my system a longgg time ago so i dont remember actual numbers but i started with 1 ohm and got rise to 3.something ohms. Or does it all have to do with the box?

look for something that will meet your exact needs or close to them, since your running 3 different speakers you will need a 3 way cross over, at 4000hz and up, 500hz and up, and finally 150 hz and up for your woofer.

ive got 2 dd 8s, 2 4 inch aeros 17 inches long box is right around 2.0 after displacements and im pushing it with an ap1500 no problems so far. My box could e a tad smaller. You will be happy with your 8s if you do a good install there is a decent shock factor mine slam pretty good

ive got the pioneer 4200 and i love it. When using a flash based ipod your fine but when i use my 160gb ipod classic there can be some lag between songs, but it isnt terrible.

I just put some dd 1508s in my car today, they have less than 10 minutes of playing time on them. So far they are pretty sick, ive got them in a 2 cubic foot box after all displacements, for my port im using 2 4 inch aeros 17 inches long calculator says around 37hz and im very happy with them

Ive got another update for you guys, ive been getting alot of work done on this build im really happy with it so far. I got the first coat of primer on last night and layed down another coat of primer after work today, im going to throw down one more layer of primer very soon and once that dries my first coat of color is going down. I picked a color from beher called dark granite. Should go well with my car. Also i got tracking number on both my orders, should have the port tomorrow and the subs thursday which works out perfectly! no matter how i mix it bondo never seems to dry fast enough for me LOL. I need to learn some patients. anyways here are some pictures of the work i got done yesterday, i started some bondo work and caulked up my seems just for safe measure. Yeah thor is the man! I did some more work on the box today, i got the last hole for the 2nd aero cut, you guys probably wont see pics of my aero holes because they are shitty as all hell. I caulked up the inside of box and mixed a small batch of bondo and got some of the screw holes covered up. I should be mixing a bigger batch later to finish off my bondo work. Probably going to sand the bondo down tomorrow after work and tuesday its going to get a couple coats of primer. Wednesday or thursday i should my ports and hopefully subs! pics up later

alright ive got another update, i made some cuts on the box today, i got the sub holes cut and cut one of the openings for one of the aero ports. I am going to cut the other tomorrow. mini update, i got my ports ordered up then realized with the size of my box i cant do subs back port back like i want to so looks like its going to be subs up port back should be okay right?

it works well, its not the best amp obviously but it does very well for what i paid for it. I think i am going to upgrade to maybe a DD amp or a fosgate

I had this post typed out once already and then fire fox crapped out on me and crashed so here it goes again. Here is the car as it sits, here you can see my false floor which is bolt to the factory floor hinges so i can still get to my spare tire. My 4 channel is mounted there for the time being but will be moved up to the back of the back seat. Well thats all i got tonight, tomorrow after work i plan on measuring out all of my holes to cut and sand the box down, depending on how much work i get down sunday i will either fiber glass resin the inside of the box or bondo the screw holes and small eff ups we shall see.

Alright guys my level 4 15 is ripping my car apart mainly my windshield. The windshield was damaged by the sub originally the glass cracked right around the where the mirror mounts so i think the flexing made the mirror pop off the second time this time taking a massive chunk of glass with it. ive got a 2nd gen ipod touch had a screen protector on the screen from the second it came out of the box. Its got the regular ipod scratches on the back that the touches get there are no deep scratches though i think they sell a kit to take of that.
