  1. I'm planning on getting mine done within the next couple months, so I'm definitely keeping watch on this thread.
  2. Just get a K&N air filter and don't bother with anything else... I wouldn't worry bout getting a nice sound on your current vehicle.
  3. My expo has just over 120k w/ no issues so far and my step dad has one with almost 140k on it too... So i'd definitely suggest the Expo over the blazer. The other reason being that my brother has a 98 blazer w/ just over 100k and his tranny blew on him.
  4. x10000 but where did the OP mention a battery iso??
  5. 2/0 Ultraflex welding wire from www.weldingsupply.com IMO it's prolli the best wire I've used(Kicker hyperflex, RF flex, Knu Kollosus flex, Stinger Pro, etc) and as long as they keep making it I'm gonna keep buying lol. Plus the more you buy at a time, the lower the cost is per foot. I agree with all of this. Even with the compressors and what not if will still benefit from having whatever extra amperage is left... You said u didn't think you could fit many more batts, only maybe one more. Honestly I'd move things around as much as possible to free up the space, because only 3 group 31 batts on 8,000+ watts from those amps is gonna pull a ton of current. Like i mentioned early I'd really suggest at the least have the 4 big batts and that was only when I knew bout the 2 RF 4ks... Then on top of that having your front stage amps and a compressor too is gonna create a ton of stress.
  6. Because you have a bunch of un-matching equipment that it seems like you're planning on running together... On CL you could prolli pick up at least a few hundred if you sold that stuff separately. Then with say $300 or so and whatever money you can put in, you can pick up sum equipment that will blow what u have away.
  7. For a loud daily setup CRX style(sub up, port back) is usually the way to go w/ an SUV, but it will vary a little bit though. With that amp I'd suggest an enclosure like 5ft3 @ 34hz w/ 60^2 of port, that's if you decide to go with slot port. I'd personally suggest like 2 6" aeroports w/ around 7-10in^2 of port per cubic foot(so like 35-50in^2 for a 5ft3 box).
  8. I don't really see how anyone has been rude in this thread at all.. If you're gonna let something as little as this bother you, then an internet forum might not be the right place for you. The only reason it may have come off to you that way is because the info that you were asking about was literally right on the Kicker website if you looked. Most are glad to help someone out when they truly need it, but in your case it just seems like you were a little lazy to have not looked on Kicker's website for info bout a Kicker product. It's just usually the most basic place to start. Btw if you need any box building tips or help just drop me a PM.
  9. I'm sure that it can be reconed but it's worthless to get one reconed... I'm guessing that Kicker won't send out recones(if they make them) and for the cost of shipping and the price for Kicker to recone them it wouldn't be worth it.
  10. I'd sell all of the subs/amps and start all over if that's an option... But if you're asking if you should put all those together - ABSOLUTELY NOT
  11. Trailblazer, Durango, Explorer, Grand Cherokee, RX300, ML300, etc... With the smaller engines all of them should get the MPG you're looking for and can be found in that general price range.
  12. That's sum cool shit man... I'll be out there for CES this year with a friend's company and I'll make sure to swing by the Palms to check out the Hoe.
  13. They are the crazy posts you seen on some forums that advertise to free viagra or porn... They bascically spream spam everywhere.
  14. I'd tune a little bit lower if I were you, like 34 or 35hz... But i'd suggest double baffle and definitely sum bracing too.
  15. Horrible mic on that camera but does look pretty loud... Any numbers yet??
  16. I'd like to see it just so that we can expel some of the rumor and doubts about the amps... I doubt we'll see it though because of the presence of the other CA companies that already have been here in the past. I doubt that they want another company on the forum getting additional publicity and business from being on here.
  17. That is disgusting and some what pathetic to let yourself get that large.
  18. The older Goliaths were very good amps and did every bit of their rated power... The Hifoincs XX line has gone hill where as all their other lines seems to be getting better. But there are plenty other 5000w amps that I'd run before either one of these.
  19. I'd say at least 4 or 5 big batts.. Like Odyssey 2150, Northstar NSB-125, XS 3100, Kinetik 3800, etc similar performance batts. I'm running just under 9,000w after adding in my front stage amps and I'm running 2 300a Ohio Gen alts, 5 NSB-125s + NSB-75 under hood and (2) 2/0 runs per amp... I get very little voltage drop and that is mostly just during multiple bassrace runs or demos one after another.
  20. Either CA glue w/ activator or the epoxy that is already pre mixed that comes in the syringes... It already has acitvator in it and sets extremely quickly and works the same as CA glue IMO.
  21. Is very dependant on what woofers and amps you'll be running... So what are u running??
  22. 1 5/8" drywall screws is pretty much the standard of what is used by many people... Stay around 4" away from the corners and 3-4" of space between screws.
  23. ^^ Very true... Can also get the Ultraflex welding wire for like $.30 more per foot and it is just as flexible as any other brand out there.
  24. That is pretty insane but god damn that must get annoying after awhile.
