DC Subs are killing my radio
Loudcivic replied to 77-AUDIO's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
and another thing to add by me saying you will eventually burn everything up im not just talking about audio equipment. you can fry your cars computer from low voltage along with other electrical parts so i would be careful. i also think you should beef up your electrical before you get a new headunit -

i say go with the chrome finish then if its not gonna make that big off a difference in price. i think the chrome with the boot on the motor looks badass anyways. if it bugs ya that much then go with the chrome and im sure others are with me on the whole chrome over the black finish on the plates -
you got your shit bangin in your suv and went to a comp and won. what else should we know????

flathead screw driver between the basket and motor and hit it one good time with a hammer it will come off.

so your running a sundown 1500 at .66 ohms on pretty much stock electrical and no extra batts. all i have to say is wow. fix your voltage and your problems will proly stop. your gonna burn everything up eventually. get the headunit that derrick is talking about. if his shit isnt skipping then you will be good -
most baskets are glued on to the motor

the chrome motors look good. i suggest having an option of having a black motor or chrome motor when you order. sundown will be my next sub i think -
