  6. A pair of 18's per side? These are going under a stage. How or better yet, where would I port them? Should they share the same air?
  7. like i said im still a beginner. what are those good for? iv herd those are hard to tune? Dont those have a high peak frequency? You can tune a T-line just like any other enclosure but they are hard to play around with in cars because they are pretty large enclosures as compared to a simple ported enclosure So how would they work on like a 15" or an 18"? say you have an 18" that is recommended for 6FT^3 ported, and you have the room for a box like that, would that sound better than doing a standard 6FT^3 box, 14sq^2 per FT^3 @ 32Hz? Also... how come the port gets bigger the farther it goes on?
  8. like i said im still a beginner. what are those good for? iv herd those are hard to tune? Dont those have a high peak frequency?
  9. Im still a beginner in car audio and still learning. im not sure what guy is doing. Im not saying its bad at all nor im i trying to be mean in any way. 1.) What is this box used for/good for? this. 2.)How come the port gets bigger? In the beginning in goes from 2" to 3" to 4"? Why is that?
  10. There is a guy in the Tunez section taking requests for that kind of stuff
  11. what are you trying to say? lol He just said it
  12. I did forget to mention that on the port.. It looks good, the only thing i would change is try and make it 3inches from the back part of the wall.. That way you are equally dividing the 6inch center port...It also would not hurt you if you do decide on going with the DC subs to add a second baffle for mounting the subs.. i was thinking about doing a second baffle for mounting the subs, then doing a third to make them sit flush.
  13. sorry my bad, i wanted to make sure that you guys didnt overlook anything. different people look at different things threw a different angle. ill remember that for next time.
  14. I am not sure if im going with kickers, if i cant find some subs by feb and i have enough money i might go with DC LVL 4 12's or 15's. so when i know for sure what subs im getting i will then add to my final design. btw how did the port look that was another one of mt concerns. i know i probably dont know enough to build myself another box, but we all learn from experience, and im trying to keep the bad experiences to a minimum.
  15. It said "The file you are trying to access is temporarily unavailable." You should try zshare.com good song choice btw
  16. Here is a sketch up of the box that im hoping to find subs for. This is the Torres Box Calculator Data for it. tell me what you guys think should be changed or what subs would fit nicely in it. -Thanks
  17. I'd wall that SOB, add some weight to the back.
  18. That worked with a 6.5" I had, although this is a subwoofer.
  19. Yup that would do it
