Yea we have our power wheels that were building. We were going to use the 8 but just don't think it's strong enough. Plus right now the power wheels mids and highs are 2 3" speaker where the headlights are then 2 6.5" speakers.

I just posted my xl 15 in fs thread. They are great woofers take a beating. I beat on mine for really long drives on 2k and barely got warm at all just hot enough to notice it

I had bud ballinger recone it he has been competing for around 6 years and has a van that does 160's he knows what he's doing. That's why I had him do it. But rusty I just dropped it of at ups so mine is on it's way back to you.

Alright guys I didn't mean to come off as a dick yesterday. I was as most people would be upset at the time. But I dealt with it. I made the title something that I thought would get a lot of attention. I posted the thread because it was early and I figured most the dealers were asleep or not on. I also called one dealer because his number was in the rep thread before I posted and I left him a message. He got back to me later in the day. Ive been talking with cj and corona Jeff. Jeff said he would give me one of his recones which is way out of his way to take care of me and I appreciate it. Called and talked to rusty this morning and I told him what happened and he said it was all good that they sent me a d1 stealth coil. He told me to cut it out of the woofer and ship it back to him. He also said that they were building me a recone today and shipping it out as well. So as usual dc audio's customer service for the win. Also I ended up winning state with the XL. So thanks to everyone that helped get this problem solved. Dc FTMFW! -brandon

I won Indiana with a 123.1 lol. I was doing a park and pound run and blew/slinkied a coil. I only ran 1 amp at 2ohm. So idk how it happened but for my next park n pound run the shop owner let me use a crossfire x and that thing is ridiculous. I had it on low power and it could have probably done a 138-142

We have testing to do for sure. But I need the right coils first.

I'm running one xl 15". I'm strapped at 4ohms so 2 ohms per amp(supposed to be). My sig is outdated it's unbelieveable.

I have 30 amps of fusing for 2 sundown 4500's. That's why I was going to run them at 2 ohms each. To lessen the strain on my fuse.

I'm sitting here at state finals. My fuses aren't holding because I was sent the wrong coil configuration. Worlds is a week and a half away. I ordered a d2 xl 15" recone from cj and got sent a d1 xl 15" recone. I didn't time to dmm because I've been working on my truck. So now I'm f***ed. Please some dc rep or rusty pm me your phone number I need this solved be finals.
