this mixtape is hottt. I'm listening to it on my sonys and they this whole mixtape just sounds amazing.

the fuse is not busted, like I said, we plugged it into my car and it fired right up. The deck works great, we think it might be something with his car, even though it was working the last time we tried to use it in his car.

Yeah everything works..well it did. We didn't get it tuned yet but wanted to make sure it works, and I think it was dimming his dash lights. Now his head unit won't turn on, it works fine when we plugged it into my car, but there is no power to the headunit in his car now. We are thinking something happened to the little chord you plug in that powers the headunit. Any ideas?

Somehow the ground found its way into the Power port of the Amp. and the Power wire found its way into the Ground port in the amp Even though I know I put them in the right places and my friend was watching me do it. lol

This is the first I have done by myself, and we figured out the problem. It was stupid but we got it fixed Thanks for all the help.

so its safe to just unhook the battery ground, put the fuse in, and then hook up the ground again?

Well his battery is in his trunk, but yeah, the ground is hooked up in the battery. So unhook the ground, put the fuse into the block. then screw the battery ground back in? ok. the only pain with that is his ground on his battery is hard to tighten, but we can make it work. haha. Thanks.

So I hooked up my buddies system today and it came with a fuse block, so we cut the power wire and installed the fuse block and we setup his whole system with the fuse out. We hooked it up to the battery and to his amp, but when we try to stick the fuse in, it sparks. We cannot figure out why because his car is completely off, and we cant put the fuse in, because it is obviously sparking. Any ideas?

Yea we are going to this store by here called Horizon and they tune amps really well for a relatively low price so that we don't clip or anything.

Thanks for the wicked fast replies guys. The best thing would probably be just to wire it at 4Ohms I guess then, because he just bought that amp and it should be shipped here tomorrow and I doubt he wants to return it. So should we just wire it like this?

Hi, I'm hooking up my friends woofer tomorrow and need a little help with the wiring. He has a Kicker 15in L7 2000RMS DVC 2ohm in a giant ported box He bought a Kicker ZX1500.1 Amp Mono D which has a RMS output at 2 ohms: 1500 watts x 1 chan How do I wire this? I was looking on the12volt and I checked rockford but there is nothing on how to wire 2 ohm to 2 ohm. Help haha.

Wait 500W? How come the website says 2000 And BulletInjection, the sub is in perfect condition. it works fantastic and has been bumpin for about a month now. The guy I bought it off of didn't know the value so just slapped a price on it.

He hasnt replied back to me yet but he knows how to work craigslist and gets insane deals on high quality stuff. His sound system is amazing and he aquired it all through deals. the P3 i have has a retail price for 300 and I got it for 20

really? okay sweet. This is a hell of a steal for me as that amp is in fantastic condition and will tremendously help me when I get my dual setup. I really need to go get this professinally tuned or something because I would rather enjoy living without fear of clipping rather than having a friend tune it by ear. haha. because none of us have o-scopes.

Hey I have 1 rockford p3 for now with a 340 watt amp. the sub has a 500watt recommended rms and a 1000 watt max. my buddie just called me asking if I wanted to buy a new amp he just picked up for 100 bucks in great condition which is 2000watts. I am trying to save up for dual 12's as I only have 1 12 right now. Could I run this 2000 watt amp on my 500watt sub for now? Obviously not at full power, but would I be able to tune it so it only received 500 watts? or what.

ok, i got it all wired up. i had to take out the back whole of the box because i wanted a direct speaker wire connection to the sub instead of going thru those port hole thingys. but now I have a hole and am not sure if that is effecting the bass. but it seems like it has less of a hit now. it may need re-tuned. i think ill play with it a little. edit:yeah it made a huge difference when i covered the whole..haha time to go re-cover it

aight yeah thats what I thought. that is probably what blew my last 12.. I got it all wired, ima go get it all screwed in and start testin. ill update yall in a little bit. thanks a bunch again. this really helped.

OH. and one other thing. for my crossover, do I set it to HPF, full, or LPF? full plays both lyrics and bass, while lpf only plays bass. my friend told me to put it on full cuz he always had it on that when he had this amp
