  1. Looks good. Doug should be pretty used to doing those, since he's got one. Yes any vehicle can be fabricated to house the mini (some with a full size or any other tablet). I've done a couple myself and use Doug's front bezels.
  2. different look than how i was taught to build t-lines but i'm not as artistic with sketch-up as you are. congrats.

  4. nor is rated power handling. I remember the days when amps were rated at 50rms @ 4ohm and people were still able to put together loud cars.
  5. sacrificing cone area and motor force for a higher power application. imho i wouldn't but then again i like the wow factor of good 8s over 12s
  6. 2 ohm nominal is possible (not sure as i've never put a dmm on those subs). as far as seeing a 2 ohm load all the time, No. Only at certain points of the up and down movement of the coil is it actually going to have a resistance of 2 ohms.
  7. only half of this statement is correct. you are correct about voltage drop, but since music is dynamic impedence rise isn't really a factor. this will only give you what you are getting out of the amps at a certain frequency not a particularly efficient way of testing how much each sub is getting on music.
  8. sorry charlie no dice. please read the for sale section rules.
  9. yes i know my car is an si. its on the title, my insurance, vin number comes up as si, sunroof that i pulled out proved it was si, rear triangle says si, seats are si, stock door panels i pulled out and kept aside scream si, oh and not to mention the fact that i built the car from a junker to what it is today. sunroof was taken out and 1/4" piece of steel was welded in. (all done previous to me buying the car and main reason i did buy the car) thats why the RF of this crx is 38hz. not your typical rex...not your typical rex build. door panels are the same because i said next month i would be taking them to be wrapped. i have a lease that ends on the 1st and would rather be moving into a place than living out of my car because i decided to waste time and money wrapping door panels. but thank you for your concern.
  10. maybe a clip of them from further away would be better...sounds like absolute garbage and muffled with camcorder from samsung phone.
  11. updated with a small clip...they give a new meaning to feel the tingle in your nether region. remember they havent been finish sanded or covered yet...just temp till i move into my new house. had to get the rear pods out of my car. they were advertising shotty work. the type i dont do. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZF3-mP_6_CQ&feature=channel
  12. now everything is a go..just waiting on next month to take the panels to the upholstery shop and have them wrap them the way i want. 4- 8" Seismic Audio Mids 2- Selenium ST200 Tweets 1-RF Punch 800a2 1-RF Punch 500a2
  13. this is my first set...after alot of research and development to find out how i wanted them to look...i definitely bought a different set of door panels instead of modifying the stock Si ones...they can be expensive especially in mint condition like mine are. hooray for part outs.
  14. rain has been killing the time i have to work...but got another layer of resin and mat on the passenger side...next is the sanding then body filling. gotta pick up some 12ga speaker wire and some distro blocks for ease of wiring.
  15. local marine repair shop sells poly resin by the gallon (at a great price i might add) but they failed to state that you need to bring your own container. so they found some containers around the shop and (1st gallon was in a resin gallon so not bad) he found an empty weed killer bottle and put a gallon in it. i took it and used it. no problems what so ever and a hell of a lot better than that bondo brand crap that some people use.
  16. after 1 layer of resin and thick cut mat everything cut out to show how the setup is (1 layer of mat still drying) after 2 layers and the door panel attached to the door (not too gaudy and looks like it could look natural) body filled some of the driver side panel and working on the passenger side.
  17. figured since i posted this on other sites i'd get to posting it here to allow the flame to ignite. Since i have no need for elbow and arm sq i decided to separate the top and bottom portions of the door panel and resin/mat the back to add strength to a flimsy plastic door panel. then decided to break out the fleece and weed killer to start making the shape of the doors that i wanted. more to come later.
  18. ok you are going to ban me for stating something about ur responses to opinions people have. i guess i should push myself into the spotlight...just like i'm team stetsom but cant post a forsale ad...even tho i have good feedback on ca.com, caco.com and flspl.com... guess i should just buy my own tahoe and push myself into the spotlight.
  19. show me where i'm hating..that simply stating facts...if stating facts is your definition of hating on someone then you really need to revise your definition
  20. seems like you shouldnt post things if you cant accept negative opinions. you should know this as you pushed urself into the world wide webs personal spotlight. when are you going to grow up and accept the respectable opinions of the few like you've accepted the loving(sometimes as homo as possible) comments about what you do.
