yeah they were black, and very scratched up. so they are bronze now...ill post up what the paint was tomorrow i cant think of it all off the top of my head lol. thanks guys. ive painted a few sets of wheels hahaha

yessir, rolled the fenders and removed the plastic splash guard crap. 1 degree of camber. it sits nice and low, some modification to the strut mounts, and some new bushings it still rides pretty nice for a lowered honda

i Cant seem to get some of the pics to load. also lowered the car some before, cant see in the pics but the wheels are all scratched up, new tires. and 2" drop Still wet, unmasked... Fresh! with an almost 4" drop. =) shes happy im happy

true story navi...... This is what it looks like. and yeah the other side of the wall takes all the air abuse. so it rattles a lot i guess. fail....

yeah, i checked the voltage of the batteries and to make sure there wasnt a short. i also checked the coils of the subs. just to be sure. I mean the car doesnt get driven much, but...i wish i had some pics of it handy, but the amps are mounted on the rear wall, same wall that separates the cabin and subs from the amps in the rear. im about to go to lunch, ill try and take some pics with my cell phone. its not real clean right now so be easy on me. But i really am lost with it, i guess things just happen...

yeah i mean at least it wasnt a $1000 amp. but still, im kinda on the poor side of life for now, so a $300 amp is a loss for me. I know theres nothing more to do. im going to email them, the amp is only 4 months old by production date even, so...also im not a pro, but i have plenty of wire and batteries, everything soldiered and never had voltage problems before, and since i replaced this amp with another 3k i have no voltage issues once again. so fail on their part i believe....

ok be easy here, i know im going to hear a lot of laughs well go figure expressions here. but..last night, getting ready to go for a drive to relax. I start the car let it warm up, start messin the the system a little bit. Maybe 40% volume, not cranked by any means, i notice my voltage is funky, its dropping to like 11.8 at half volume, which is not normal. so i mess with is some more, rev the car up etc...all of a sudden, poof, subs shut off. so i check sure enough i blew an ANL fuse for the amp. Audiopipe 3k by the way. so i start to replace the fuse, thinking something is a miss, and sure enough when i go to put a new fuse it, huge spark, and the fuse begins to glow red, so i unhook it of coarse, and smoke is coming from the vents on the amp. so i unhook the amp and take it out of the car, cover off, nothing seems to have gotten hot. Amp isnt warm at all. i check the voltage of the car, resting at 12.9 with the car off, no direct short, throw another ap3k up and it runs great. so bottom line i smoked an amp. And im a little irritated with it, and will be buying a different line of amps......theres my rant. be easy guys

I myself just love the build aspect of car audio, its very satisfying to build something get it all wired up and then feel the bass in your chest. also i just love music, so the louder we can get the music the better. It really calms me down to drive around and listen to the system as loud as i can stand it. Ive been addicted since i was 11 years old, im almost 23 now, i dont see my addiction going anywhere....

yessir he was talking $120 when i first asked about them, and after an hour of bullshitting around in the shop hes like, well just gimme $25 for em and we'll call it good man. couldnt beat that!

Well, After talkin to the guy for like an hour, and shootin the breeze with him a little, i got em talked down some. paid $25 for them.......... Still in the wrapping. The box was a little dusty but, i think i did ok

yeah i googled em to check out prices. i need a good set for my daily, ive just never heard these before so i dunno how they sound. guess im gonna go talk to em after work

So, a buddy of mine has a bnib set of Re xxx series 6.5 components. Hes wants $100 for them. Should i pick em up? ive never heard them in person before so...what do you guys think?

^^^^ I would say so. I though to myself that it should work just fine, but he must have a problem somewhere. Anyways im running an AP3K so im not sure but bet you must use both RCAs. We'll find out tonight, im gonna hook it up and test it out...

OK, im going to try it, Ive never used a Y splitter before, but when he did it sure enough it freaked his subs out like his amp wasn't grounded well or something lol. i have a Y splitter i bought, so im going to use it up at the HU since i already ran RCAs to the rear. Im only using one amp for subs. I was pretty sure that's the only way to do it, but it scared me after watching his subs pulse like that, they were like full excursion during pulse too, cant be good on woofas

Alright so i searched this some, and ive asked a few people local to me and get different answers. I have no experience doing this so... I have a Panasonic CQ-VW100U double din. It only has one subwoofer pre out. meaning only one, not left and right. Can i run a Y splitter with this head unit? Ive gotten a yes and a no, someone said that if i split the signal it will freak out the amp and cause the subs to pulse. and in fact he did this with his dual head unit right in front of me and sure enough the subs started pulsating with no music playing... so before i tear anything up i thought i would ask if anyone knows for sure or can lend some advice on this? All my other double dins have been alpine, which have a normal sub output on them. Thanks in advance guys!

Yeah i really doubt anyone would do it again. At least not the same people. I asked some of the neighbors this am about it, no one saw anything of coarse. Mostly old people living on my street but a few streets over there are a lot of punk kids. I filed a police report, i doubt they will come thru. They were in unmarked boxes. i left them outside because thats where UPS and Fedex always leave packages, have for years and never had a problem. I live in a good clean neighborhood with all old people around me so its never been an issue. Im sure they will turn up thou, and as i said before they are the only DC audio woofers in town as far as i know. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Ive filed a police report. i was at work late last night i cant make personal calls at work. this really just fuckin sucks. i like the camera idea. i have a guess on someone in my neighborhood but im not sure how to approach them about it.
