  1. i actually have 2 real blinking lights. one from stock and one from aftermarket alarm. one is on top of the dash and the other is right around steering wheel both are clear when they are on
  2. glad your happy with em, i plan on getting 2 lvl 5's end of the month as a b-day present
  3. lol same boat as you I have all kinds I brought but then sadly people aren't honest now a days so I decided not to put them on. It's like a car with rims, if someone has rims 9/10 they have a sound system and more of a target for a thief. I do have a 2 way alarm though, if you don't have one i think you should invest in one.
  4. Raw simply to keep cost low and be able to ship out asap without all the hassle of extra work involved plus it looks dope
  5. oh and I do have an amp for my speaker currently only thing hooked up is a kicker 650.4 doing about 120 rms per channel on 2 channels.
  6. okay little update The list is .... temperature, time, vol on radio and idle voltage...yeah i know anyone can make that out. Well since it does it sometimes MECHMAN do you think it's b/c the voltage at maximum speed is set higher on the stock than yours? Stock=15.08 Mechman=14.7 Obviously I don't know much or else I'd be able to fix this issue myself but my friend thinks I need my voltage set higher so when it's "hot" it'll putout more voltage is that correct? Saturday I'll try putting on a Goodyear Gatorback .5 smaller belt and see if that works, if not I'll send it back for you to look at. Sorry for the inconvience I just hope the belt helps b/c it's a super pain in the ass to put in and take out of my car. 64F 9:41 a.m. vol. 20 13.6 66F 9:54 (no radio) 14.3 72F 1:21 p.m. vol. 22 14.2
  7. i have that noise too works fine, just the sound its producing current
  8. well 3 post up i said last night it did the same thing without back battery
  9. yea if the battery checks out i'll have to do that then, it's a real pain in the ass installing an alt in my car though.
  10. scratch that it's 10 something and cool so not heat issues haven't left in a few hours. Well, same symptoms happening now still without back battery hooked up. Let it idle and it'll drop to 13.3 with no load well you know what i mean nothing besides cars basics needs. So tomorrow I'm going to get the stock battery tested
  11. well i just hope you support us non popular "imports" any word yet so i can start saving whether a 07 hyundai santa fe is supported?
  12. i'll be gone for the next few hours so mechman if you can help me i'd really appreciate it. Just send me another pm or we can try to figure this out in this topic if you like Thank you for your time and effort
  13. okay sorry should have answered this in the msg, but I did like you asked and unhooked both batteries for about 8 or so hours, voltage was 12.9 on both batteries before and after charge. Noticed with the back battery disconnected the voltage stays between 14.1-14.6 depending on how much i turn up the radio. Also tested with a/c on and rpm goes up to about 750-800 and voltage stays at 14.4 with moderate listening levels. My question is.....why does the voltage drop so much with back battery connected? Autozone did a load test on back battery (DEKA 9a31) said it was 100% and did a load test and said it was good. So I'm confused why it goes down to the low 13's with them both connected regardless of anything on or off.
  14. well sully I sure hope this isn't my problem guess i'll know tomorrow I'malso going to try changing the belt to half an inch shorter one and see if that helps, but belt doesn't seem loose at all. If i revv to 750-800 i'll get the 14.4-14.6 no problem just not at idle ever
  15. okay quick update will update more tomorrow. I measured voltage of both batteries SEPERATE and they were both 12.9 put them on the charger and it said 100% So i charged them both at 8 amps (just to make sure each cell was fully charged) for about and hour a piece no change in voltage. Hooked up only stock battery, going to let the back battery stay unhooked until tomorrow (Deka 9a31) Well voltage still drops to 13.6 and lower if i just let it idle lowest i let it go is 13.2 before i actually give it gas and once again, nothing was running beside car.
  16. sorry if i missed it, but what's the RMS on these? lol bitch looks way beefier than some cheap ass flea bay 10 i brought to mess around with
  17. okay will get back to you tomrrow Mechaman. will charge the batteries over night and let you know what it says. Will also let you know the voltage before I charge them. I was going by my service manual, it just says 65a min. not sure if that was a requirement or saying what the stock should do.
  18. okay i know the rms is 1000 rms but sundown also underrates their equipment. Could 2 handle a 3000D daily at full power?
  19. uh yea i already stated i know that it's not engine that it would be 600 Engine rpm i'll try the belt next weekend and let everyone know how it goes but it seems tight to me and what's a overdrive pulley? it's been a while since i measured but engine crank pulley is like 6" while pulley on alt is 1" n something or 2" not sure and won't have my car until this weekend thanks for everyone trying to help thus far will update next weekend
  20. @basebalz13 yea mechman says 68.4 - 1800RPM and 147.7 @ 2500RPM
  21. wow, what no word from Mechman to help solve this???
  22. okay yea it says 65a min mechman does produce that but i think irragi might be right about not enough idle current, b/c this is the list of the first few off the dyno sheet Stock Mechman 67 37 83 68 94 95 112 147 AFTER doing the conversion the output i get is Stock (83) Mechman (68) I think I need those 15 amps
