Ok so im starting on some new upgrades on my 2000 grand am gt. soon to be running 2 alpine type R's (Special Edition) 12's in a cutom proted box(38hz-40hz) on a hifonics brutus amplifier ( 1 ohm load), I Have A total of 4 6x9's, 2 4x6's all pioneer ts series, and 4 competition grade powerbass extreme lvl 2 tweets. i wanna make some adjustments so that i get more flex around my windshield area if possible. i already have a sound processor, and im getting ready to do the big three. sound deadner (ss damp pro) soon, Any Ideas??

What Size ANL Fuse Should I Use

Alright so im doing the big three pretty soon and i was wondering, am i supposed to fuse the alternator charging wire, becuase im gettin two different answers from two different sources

It Should Be Fine, I've Ran 950 Watts To Each One, And It GOt Smelly After A Long While, But Just Dont Punish It Too Hard

Caps Wont Work Like Batteries At Producing A Large Amount Of Beneficial Power, But Mine Help Me Stiffen The Voltage Without It The Voltage WOuld Fall WOrse

What is the EQ Set At on the Head Unit

All of them are great choices from Fi, to Dc, To AQ, DD, DC, All can pretty much take whatever you can throw at them

Ive read up on them, i herd the subs are not all that great but the amps are good both bang for the buck

The SSD is a good product i would definitely recommend it over the kicker l5's, cvr's, or cvx's

I think im going with ss damp pro, cuz i need some deadening especially for the trunk

Well im gettin ready to get new amps and equipment in so im gonna dampen alot of the car. I Was wondering what yall would recommend when it comes to , Damplifier, Damplifier Lite, And Damlifier Pro. Which Has Better Results And Still Gives It The Loud Bass From A Block Away

Yeah the only reason i used the boss amp is cause it was given to me, but i checked the subs and everything, and it didn't damage the equipment, so thats a good thing.

Alright So I Have This Old Boss 2000 Watt Power-drive Amp, And It's Messing Up, Sometimes It Will Make The Left Speaker Hit Harder ANd The Other One Barely Moves, Ad Then Its The Other Way Around. sO i BARELY have The Gain Up So I Decided That I Was Gonna tTurn Off The Bass Boost On The Amp, And The Left Speaker Just Started Flexing Crazy, And Then The Right One. SO I Turned The Gain All The Way Down Almost 20 Percent And U Can Barely Hear The Bass At All. I Have No Idea What Is Wrong With The Amp, But I'm Getting Rid Of It And Im Goin With A 2010 Hifonics Class D Amplifier Which Should Be Better For My System , And less strain on my alternator since the old boss amp is a 2 channel.

I Run Pioneer Premier TS Series They Are Pretty Good

I think alpine is a good and solid brand. Had no problems with my type r's, the mids and highs are good as well. all around i think they are a good supplier of audio products
