Just got my Crescendo 3k in, decided to play a little Bass I Love You and share.

2 18" DC Audio Level 4xl's Then throw an xs d3100 or two in the back. Call it a day.

What does this "all ready" electrical consist of? I am asking because it is the LAST thing you want to skimp on! As for subs... I'd say two 18" level 4xls @.5ohms with a Crescendo 3k. You could get both the subs and the amp within your $1500.00 budget and have money left over for some batts!

The newer ones seem to run around $170.00 new as the cheapest on the net. As far as amplifiers go... The mono block type of amplifiers would be much more efficient in driving your subwoofer. (ie. less amperage to create the 600watt current you want) Regardless in mono, 2-channel, or 4-channel etc, it all depends on the current being pulled. BUT, if you are on a budget and plan to add a battery and finally an amplifier that would actually push the subwoofer with some power, then I understand.

Alrighty that makes a little more sense. lol Well, looking at the first torres shot, each sub would be seeing about 2.5 cubes a piece before the extra baffle, and before the bracing take up some space. Personally i'd shoot for 3 a piece at least. If you could still go 25 deep and keep everything else the same you should be looking good. Again, I am not sure of the optimum suggested box specs for those subs, but at 1300ish a piece, and for a set of 15"s, you should be golden. Just take lots of pics!

The internal airspace of your enclosure will increase by the total displacement of your woofers thus affecting your actual overall tuning.

Quick question, I am putting two runs of 2/0 from my front battery to my rear battery bank. I understand the placement of the fusing along each line, but was curious as to the size. I am planning to run a Crescendo 3k @ 1-ohm for 3000rms. The fuseholders shipped with 150 amp anl fuses. Would it be proper to just run 150 amp fuses in each holder on each line? I understand if I were trying to squeeze 3k out of one run of wire it would be drawing too much current theoretically, but could I divide the load out between the runs? Thanks ahead!
