anyone make stickers?
somerandomguy replied to TeejayBee's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
It depends... how many do you need and how big and what color(s)? I could probably make you some at school if you have the image already and they aren't too big and not unusual colors -

I have heard before that if a cop pulls you over for them, they will put a piece of white paper in front of them and if the paper stays white then there is nothing they can do. Paper stays white with 6000k (I tried it) but doubt it would with 10000k.. Does anybody know if this is true or not? -
HIDs

Who are you talking about? ddm? Because futurevisions does this too, I found a small error with their site and sent them a PM, it was fixed in a couple minutes.. I have seen how they treat their customers.. Just give your plastic HIDs a month or two then come back and if they didn't melt then kudos to you.. -
I just took the HIDs out.. here's a picture of where it melted :censored: :censored: Sadly, I forgot.. and I believe that ebay deletes your PMs after a month. I'll see if I have his name in an email though (I should) and put it here bi-xenon, also that included the shipping which was like $42 or something. I just looked and it seems as though ebay bixenon's are going for between $50 and $100 now o.O quality probably went down even more rofl

Not worth the trouble, and it's not the ballast because I switched the bulbs around, it's the one bulb.. and it has been since the beginning. I found my halogens and am going to go swap my hids out and I'll take a picture of the hids. I don't know about yours, but mine are plastic (the base part - which is what melted) futurevision's appear to be metal.

I have said in .. 2 threads? About the problems I have had with my HIDs thanks to crap ebay quality. I can't find those threads so I'll say it again, I have made a video now too that I will also include. First off, I paid $150 for the kit off of ebay (I can't remember the guy's name, but I'm sure they are all crap - I wouldn't recommend getting them from ebay) I got them, put them in an one wasn't the same color as the other one. I told them and they said to call them.. so I did, the guy answers and he can barely speak English, we didn't get anywhere as I couldn't understand him so I eventually told him I would send him an email and I hung up. I then sent him an email telling him that I couldn't understand the person that answered the phone and email would be better as I would have proof then.. he sent the email back and it was obviously he didn't like it very much, just gave me the address and told me to send them back. So I did... $10. He gets them and says they are fine, but he wants me to buy some sort of other wire ($75) just in case..I said no and he said he couldn't send them back if I didn't. Finally after a month of "fighting" with him to get him to send them back without the wire (I had to report to ebay), he agreed, then said he couldn't find my HIDs..after about a week he said he found them, it cost me another $10 to get them sent back. They worked fine (maybe he fixed them? or switched them? who knows) .. for 3 or 4 days, then the discoloration came back..I know how much trouble it is with this asshole to have to send them back so I just basically ignored it. After 2 months of them working fine (besides the color) one melts, (luckily it doesn't affect the other one) and I guess I'll just have to deal with it till I can get some money and throw them and get some futurevisions I'll get a picture of how it's melted if I can find my halogen bulbs, I need to takes the HIDs out anyways because I need to get my oil changed and don't know if they'll say my warranty is void with the HIDs in there - better to be safe than sorry

Let them pass you, then whenever they see the deer that you wouldn't of (and hit) then they get it away from the road and you don't hit it rofl -

Dunno where you got that, but it explains it so, thanks It won't seem to let me quote it lol I haven't had a bulb burn out, but I did have one melt.. so now when I turn on high beams, only one side works (the other is low beam all the time) Also, one (the one that melted) isn't the same color of the other one.. the melted one isn't all that blue anymore Thanks crap quality ebay! Next time futurevision has my business most likely.. EDIT: Does anybody know where I can buy projector headlights? Besides crapebay? I can't find them for my car.. even on crapebay -

I have HIDs, 6000k. I have them in the stock housing...but only because I can't find projectors for my car. Is there glare? Probably, however..I've never been pulled over for the HIDs (had them in for 3 months now - and I've been behind cops) and have NEVER been flashed to turn off my high beams so there must not be that much glare. I have also had somebody else drive the car and pass me (while I was driving another car going the other way) and they don't look too bad, just like a montego or older prius with factory hids. I actually think that factory projectors look just as "bad" because you get the random sort of colors and brightness until they are like two car lengths away (or at least I always do..) -
Thanks for the heads up I only went to audiophonics because I like never go to indiana, and only knew they were there because of their ugly van (that always has flat tires lol) sitting out front. RF is good imo, but why have all the buttons and have the subs sitting there if you aren't going to hook them up? :censored: Pittsburgh is a little further then I wanna drive rofl http://www.teamnutztechnology.com/ I might have to take a little trip.. looks good. Although like I said.. a little further then I want to go lol, if anybody knows of anywhere closer it'd be great

Does anybody know of some, or can give me a little help finding them? I am near DuBois Pennsylvania. There is a place here, the guys that work there are helpful, but they only have like 2-3 subs to pick from, and I'd like to try out some others before I make a decision. I went to a place (audiophonics) in Indiana, PA and they have like 15 subs sitting around.. but only one hooked up and the guy was pretty much so a douche so I left and didn't look back. I need some other places
