ok so my system has been working fine till today. when i turn up the volume to a certain point the bass with cut out to half way. this never happend before i checked fuses they looked good but i replaced them anyways. im running 2 kicker zx2500.1 and 2 10"kicker solo x any ideas?

so i reconed my subs and it sounds louder to the ear at a lower freq. than before i use to peak at 53 now it sound likes its at about 47 does reconing subs do this. i went from a 4ohm load to 2ohms?

ill give tech support a call tomorrow and see what they have to say. ive also heard that subs get louder after they are reconed. for sure im going to be louder im going from 4ohm load only getting half power to 2ohm load and full power. 2 SoloX 10" and 2 Kicker ZX2500.1 hopefully i see a big jump in numbers. so far i hit a 143.8 at the headrest. looking for a 146 with recone

no glue needed slides right in and 8 bolts and your done. but the thing that sucks is they only shipped 1 the other should be here friday i hope so then i can go to the comp and see what numbers i get with full power.

I just reconed my Kicker Solo X from dual 2ohms to dual 4ohms so i can wire it down to a 2ohm load on my Kicker ZX2500.1. how long should i let it break in before i let it rip

What´s your impedance rise? we wired a ZX to 1 ohm for about 3 months on a friend´s car and it worked great, impedance rise was x3 tho so maybe we were lucky hehe, but maybe you could wire it to 1 ohm for a couple of minutes just to test how loud can you get by reconing the subs You do have a great alt and nice batts. im not sure what it is how can i find out?

new update i hit a 143.8 still only wired at 4ohm so im only seeing about 2200 watts. need to recone to 2ohms to get my full power. hopefully get up to 146 after recone
