  1. im thinking about running the z v.2 12's and maybe adding more sundown power i need the specs and mounting depth for these subs and has any power testing been done yet maybe with a 3500d on burps ? i am thinking of running 4 of the z v.2 12's and 4-3500d's . thanks
  2. can i get the specs and mounting depth of the z v.2 12" d2 subs im thinking about 4 of those and more power
  3. another 1st place win and loudest street class again. on music r1 15 sec in the kick 151.9db average r2 30 sec on the dash 151.3db average r3 45 sec on the headrest 149.5db average my numbers went up a little from the last show due to using a gallon of resin inside of the box and fatmat on the front doors. these are back to back runs with 1 minute break between readings with 1800watts on each sa-12 sundowns holding strong!!
  4. these are average scores on music!!!! r1 15 sec in the kick 151.5 r2 30 seconds on the dash 150.5 r3 45 seconds on the headrest.146.6 kinda sucked but rerun holding back glass done a 148.9 same song all 3 places i think i could have gained some by holding glass in the r1 and r2 so should do a little better next time. but i had loudest average in street division and loudest in my class.paul strouth brought people over for me to give demo's after the comp and show them my street set-up had alot of fun. when there leaderboard is updated i now have the loudest score in my class. thanks sundown audio for the great products!!
  5. i just played the throw it up pt.2 on the system should do well will have to meter it before the show and see what it can do.
  6. if there is anything at 47hz i can do good numbers there as well this will be my 1st time at this type of event so i dont really have any bassrace type songs .
  7. i going to a show on the 11th that you are only allowed to play music and they meter 15sec on dash 30sec in the kick and 45sec at the headrest then what ever your average is that is your score so i need a song that is at 48hz for 45 seconds any help would be great thanks.
  8. i will be playing with the tuning a bit later on maybe after i order the dual 2ohm subs from jacob.
  9. yes door and windows closed but the wave looks bad when i lowered the volume and done a 153.1 wave looked great my 153.3 looks almost like a flat line but the 153.4 looks spiked everywhere could be some clipping issues? amps still need put on the o-scope and i think the backglass is blowing open pretty bad but there will be alot more testing i want a 155 bad!!! im going to try to post a video this weekend maybe numbers will be up a tenth or two i hope
  10. its a 48hz note in a 2000 blazer i get 4 days off for easter so i hope i can get that number up a little there was literally 5 minutes of testing done after the install because i work 3rd shift and had been up over 30hrs by the time it was in the blazer ive still got to resin box, work on amp mounting, battery box, round corners of the box and clean up some wiring.basically the whole thing needs finalized.
  11. heres a pic of the numbers thought id post them up wave looks funny still alot of testing to be done.the box is not finalized yet amps need matched and some other stuff.
  12. the box i used for the switch was a 8 cube box with 160sq inches of port box was made to be loud with low power for the m3mojo's the new box will be 6 cubes total for 4-sa12s so this box is off bad for these subs but when your bored your bored.i would meter it but the m3mojo's where getting twice the power due to the ohm load change so it would be a unfair comparison.these sundown 12"s can get loud with little power im shooting for a 155 with 4 of them so there might be several boxes built in the next few months. lol
  13. got bored changed out my subs. box is wrong for the sa-12"s but i was suprised to find out how loud they where. the swich was from 2 m3mojo12"s doing a 148+ with around 2300 clamped power to 2 sa-12"s d4 amps now see 2 ohm instead of 1 ohm each so we will say they were seeing around 600-700watts each and i would say these subs could have pulled the same numbers if i had the power for them installed but that will be a big project when i get my week off for easter and a complete rebuild will be underway. the build will be 4-sa12"s with a few 6" precision ports 2-3500d's some kinetik batts and a 300 amp iraggi alt.
  14. what sub is that in your avatar.

  15. i had a problem something like that i was trying to install 32 bit vista would not work but 64 bit worked fine
  16. i love the xb's ive wanted one for a while but i dont know much about installs in them i thought the space was limited behind the rear seats though.
  17. i have a 2000 blazer 2-12"s in 8cubes 160 sq inches of port subs up port back does a 148.1 legal on the termlab sealed up and a 148.9 1 window down clamped power is around 2200 or 2300 watts what vehicle are you building this for?
