    Heres my advice to you, there are plenty of good subs out there from mainstream lines, and also great subs from more underground/average joe type companys that put out awesome product (hand built) that not everyone knows about DD Fi DC AQ Sundown etc. Go with what your budget allows, base your choice around how much power you plan on running and what you actually want from your new system.

    x2^ DC doesnt make the nightshade, Sundown does. Sundown= Hand built, Orion= mass produced. Also hooking Subs up to a wall socket doesnt mean anything, supposedly MTX has the longest lasting woofer (9500) next to the HCCA in that category, but that doesnt make them great subs.

    oh you want to run a kicker zx 2500.1 to a hcca, i'd get an extra battery, and atleast do the big3. or u could get a bigger alt and do big3, or do all three and be done with it so your ready for any future upgrades.

    Man when this is finished, i wanna here this thing im only an hour away from Laffy, this is gonna be sick. My Menards and Lowes wont Cut MDF they only rip 2x4's and cut them down to size, thankfully my local hardware store will.

    He said he is running 4ga power wire from front to back and his amp takes a 1/0 input that could also be a problem.

    Well the inputs on it say 1/0 heres a link RF amp link I'd upgrade to 1/0 from front to back if i was you.

    if ur amp takes 0ga and ur running 4ga there is not enough electricity to give that amp the juice it needs to see power.

    so u unhooked ur amp and hooked a dmm up to the PW & GW @ the amp, and there is nothing ?

    Im just saying its kinda like when u fry a channel ur amp still turns on but no sound comes out, hince what i said above, u can fry something without blowing a fuse. chewck and see if theres power in ur PW coming to the back idk though these are just suggestions.

    well than u gots a problem before the amp thats what i think, u can fry an amp without ever popping a fuse lol.

    check ur grounds, check ur remote wire,recheck fuses, maybe open the amp up (unhooked of course) and look for burnt parts i'd start with that.

    Oh I know lol, thats why i go with SS way better than Dynamat as its cheaper and its a better product to work with. i will never go back to an asphault base deadner again.
