Motherfucking Suger Cock! I found the little fucker! In a plastic bag, on the floor, behind my chair! God dammit now I gotta back out and work in the dark. I seriously went through ever room in the house, every box, even went through all the cars, and even sheds. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy

No god damn way this is happening. Just received my DD-1. Went out to the money pit on wheels, got everything ready. Oh, faceplate must be on my desk somewhere. It wasn't. I refurnished my bedroom last weekend and have been driving my other car. It's a Pioneer Avic-N5 http://www.navigadget.com/wp-content/postimages/2008/08/pioneer-avic-n5.jpg Can I call Pioneer, or even buy a used unit, or refurbished, and use a different faceplate for my radio? Or am I screwed, and have to buy a new radio? I'm so pissed I can't even see straight.

Looks good, I was going to a 4th for my 10"s, what are the outside dimensions? And why is there a 45 in the sealed chamber? -
I can't wait for mine! I guess shipping to Canada takes a long ass time.

no, you were told to run at 1ohm on a 2k over 4 ohm on a 9k. and you are laughing at this guy for wasting money on 4g speaker wire? Laughing at ohm's law, money spending is always personal -
You are wasting "wattage" when you run at lower resistance. Your amp isn't as efficient, that means you need WAY more power from the source to produce your "wattage" Example with random numbers. Amp needs 10 amps from alternator to make 100 watts at 4 ohm Amp needs 100 amps from alternator to make 100 watts at 1 ohm, the rest is heat, in the wire, in the alternator. It's like a teenager running at 10 miles an hour vs. a senior citizen running at 10 miles an hour. The teenager can do it for days. he senior citizen is long dead by now. Think of your poor alternator 100 amps to make 100 watts at 1ohm? I think your math is off. based on that math, i am drawing 1500 amps in my set up. (sorry, i see the random numbers comment now) You are right, efficiency is lower at lower resistances, but it isn't nearly as much as you think it is. If you can't support 3k watts @ 1ohm, you very likely can't support 3k watts @ 4ohms. I just think it will help out running at 4 ohm because I am powering other things in the car, 30+ speakers and 17 T.Vs

^^ LOL so true. Couple minutes ago I was just told to run at 1 ohm because that makes you loud Some people. -

You would rather run at 1 ohm than 2 or 4? I was going to get a 7.5k on the two 12's, but if I'm running three 10"s then I'm going to need a 9k. The subs are still getting the power, it's just the car electrical I'm worried about, LOWER RESISTANCE = MORE AMPS. My car can't make those amps. To everyone else, thank you

Hey SMD, My dumb Ford Focus can't fit a 8 cubic feet box with room for more batteries and amps. I had a 15" and it took up alot of room. So I thought if I build it inside the trunk I could fit two 15" sealed off from the trunk. It's not going to work out. My question.... Should I go with two 12"s or three 10"? Yes I want loud or I would have stayed with one 15" Either Sundown Z or Fi Q Sealed off from the trunk subs and port into cabin. Using a DC 9K or 7.5k running at 4 ohm. No rush, just want some input from all you knowledgeables so I can start planning Thanksies
