  1. Thanks Guys!! They are correct the S and D versions are the same exact battery, just the hardware that comes with them are different.
  2. I got your PM and responded. I show nothing on order for you. Who did you talk to and did you order direct through us?
  3. Hey all if you have sent me an email and I didn't reply back yet please resend it. I never check my Junk Mail at work, but I did today and had 30+ emails that some how got sent to junk mail. Some how instead of opening the emails I guess I hit something and it deleted all of them. Sorry about the mix up and I guess I will check the junk mail more often.
  4. D1600 is $259 each and 1005 Charger is $299 each. Give me a call and we can get you set up. If I dont answer just leave a message and I will get back with you.
  5. Between those two I would go with the 6amp charge. That is still pretty low of an amperage charge if you have a larger size battery, but it should work for you.
  6. Personally I would run 14V for car audio if my equipment would handle it. Especially if I had a GM. The more power you feed the system the more power it will put out. I would run a 14V system with the VCM charging at 16.8V.
  7. We do not sell direct from out site. If you want to purchase direct through us just give us a call or if you would rather buy online then there are a few online dealers that you can use. SSA MechMan The Box Guy
  8. Yes, when you purchase the harnesses for the alts it is just plug and play basically. First thing you need to do is get all three alts working without the VCM hooked up, and then hook up the VCM. You cant use the VCM harness to power the other alternators. The VCM harness will only hook up the alternators to the VCM so it can control the voltage.
  9. No we do not currently have any VCMs for imports.
  10. As long as your vehicle uses one of these plugs then we have them ready to go. XSP 310-311 VCM combo kit (69-88 GM applications) XSP 310-312 VCM combo kit (86-97 (and some newer years) GM applications 4 wire rectangle plug) XSP 310-313 VCM combo kit (for 95 and up GM applications with 4 wire oval alternator plugs)
  11. www.4xspower.com says the VCMs are out of stock? Where did you send the email to? We have them in stock and ready to go.
  12. Pretty sure you would have to remove part of the stock battery tray to make the D3100 fit. Yes, you could run the 14V as long as your amps can handle the increased voltage.
  13. You can fit a D3100 under the hood with some slight modifications, or the S3400 will fit in there perfect with the ibar kit 551 for side terminals.
  14. If the vehicle is driven daily they will work together better than if it is stored for a while. If the vehicle sits without being driven for a while then they will start to fight each other.
  15. I would never recommend to mix batteries of different chemistry, but in the short term you should be ok.
  16. Low amperage output at idle is very common with 300+amp alts. That is why your voltage is dropping. Technically any time you drop into the low 12V range you can cause problems with the charging system. How low of voltage are you dropping to? I would do some testing. I would check the voltage output at the alternator, then at the front battery, and then at the back battery. Do this at idle and also around 2K RPM.
  17. If you're running 10kw, you are going to quickly exceed your alt's capabilities. If you plan to play all day at events, I would either plan on picking up a high amperage power supply, or plan on only playing for short periods of time in order to allow time for the alt to catch up and cool down. Otherwise, forcing the alt to produce 270A all day long will burn it up pretty quickly. We typically recommend 2 x D3100's per Atomic 5000.1 for best performance, however, if you want to build up lots of capacity for extended play over long periods of time, it would be best to cram in as many as you can within your space/budget. Hope this helps!
  18. It should have been outlined in the instructions. If you did not receive the instructions with your VCM, please email a request for the dual alt VCM inst sheet to [email protected]
  19. Either will work great, but with the D680 having the higher capacity, it will play the longest on low amperage loads (5A or less). With any more power than that, I don't expect you would notice much difference in the two.
  20. Yes there is. As I also stated that was part of series of tests that we completed on that alt. In that test the alt was not being tested for max output. It was simply a test to make sure the voltage output was correct and that it was working, since you were questioning the voltage output. I didn't video the whole test, because I didn't think it was needed. In the future I will video the complete testing process. The billing department is going to refund you the rest of your payment. The person that completed the refund had never refunded money through paypal, so they didn't know the proper way to do it. Should be cleared up today.
  21. First off, as I told you before, I am sorry the alt didn't work for you. As I also told you a couple times belt slipping does not have to be due to a lose belt. If you do not have enough belt wrap on the alternator pulley and you add in a high output alternator the belt can start to slip. This was very evident with all the rubber that was on the front of the alt when we got it. Yes, I offered you a refund from the start, because we do not want to leave you stuck with a product that doesn't live up to your expectations as I have also told you a few times. In the video I sent you it was evident that the alternator was working, but something wasn't working while installed on your application. With everything considered the problems you were having was most likely due to the belt slipping. That is why there was a suggestion of trying to go with a 150 to 200amp alt and see if that would work for you, although we have never had a problem with our other customers with Honda applications like yours. Again sorry the alternator didn't work for you. I will check and see what happend with the refund. I do not know how they do credits for paypal customers. Just not sure what else we could have done. You got an alternator that was working when we tested it, but it did not work for you. So, we offered you a refund or a switch to a lower amperage alternator. Hope you get one that works for you. DC, Iraggi, and Mechman are all good options.
  22. Yeah even at 7000 you are good.
  23. If you are running a total of 3500watts then you should be good with the 2400 and 3100.
