  1. With 10k topics it's easy math to see whom has post dumped. There are some on here with 30k post. I highly doubt 1 in 3 are informative.
  2. Where are you located I'll cut them for free if your near me.
  3. Soon to be classic. The kids in the back seat look like mine with attitudes.
  4. In the first drawing you will have differential sub loading. Meaning the one closer to the port will move alot more than the other two. I learned this from experience and it doesn't work. Due to the sloped hatch in the aztac I would do both sub and port's up. Place the port on the drivers side.
  5. The port restriction is causing a huge loss.
  6. So a nice simple configuration would be 2 sets of comps, ran at 2 ohm and one SA series ran off the bridged rear. NICE.
  7. I listen to my wife! I'm tired of lumps on my head. I listen to everything!!! I'm partial to classic 60',70's and 80's. I'm really not prejudice I like all genera.
  8. 1/4 20's work fine. Despite what everyone else has posted it isn't advisable to set them using the bolt. If you dab the pronged in and then use a c-clamp to draw them tight. Using this method you'll greatly reduce the spinning effect which some times happens using the other mentioned methods.
  9. Even though the box is at 30 peak in the car is 54. Problem with the first box is not enough port area and uneven loading of the subs.
  10. You kind of miss understood or I wasn't specific. I currently have 3 different boxes available. 1st is 1.6 cu ft with 1 4" aero tuned to 30. This box is what I got a 132.9 in AS3 and a 117 in db3. ( this box is designed for 3 sa-8's) This one is going in the pile. 2nd is 2.4 cubes kerfed port tuned to 30 designed for 3 sa 8's. 3rd is a Transmission line tuned to 30 for 2 Sa 8's. I just installed this box today and it is louder than the one I metered. I'm going to hit the meter as soon as I can make an appointment. Running the 3rd box I should be able run 80 amps of fusing and place in AS-2
  11. I'm trying to get into AS2 using 3 sa 8's and a saz 1500. I have 3 boxes I'm working with currently.
  12. MECA is the reason for this post. I think I can drop a class. However I believe I will be blowing fuses a lot. The only styles I'm considering are mini and full ANL.
  13. I know from experience there are some poor quality fuses manufactured. In fact I have a few dozen laying around I'm sure. Going from this preface in your experience what brand of fuses do you use? Also being somewhat of a hoarder I would like to know where I can purchase in Bulk (at least 10 at a time but I prefer 25). Thanks for your comments in advance. Soapbox
  14. spill the beans and share some of the magic with us. Specifics on the box plz.
