I did after you pointed it out. By the way, I'm not knocking your set up, just hate to see anything bad happen to your ride. Things like that are rare but why take a chance when it is so easy to fix little things like that.

I agree that the non matching subs are a bad idea, however the non matching subs are not gonna melt and catch his Bronco on fire like the wire will because it is too small. By build a box to spec I meant to leave the odd 12 out. I thought that would be obvious. Look at the shot of his build that shows the power wire on the left hand side of the engine bay. The wire is not even into the fuse block all the way. It has serious fire hazard written all over it. I believe in giving advice on sounding good when I can, but giving advice on keeping someones car from burning down should come first.

The first thing I would fix is the obvious. Your power and ground are waaay to small. Your box is waaay to small for 3 12's. After making a better box that is to spec for the subs and getting some bigger wire they will probly perform much better.

They actually sound decent for prefab. They remind me of the old Virtual Technologies boxes, you can put a garbage sub in them and it will sound ok.....for a little while anyways.

He is probly talking about a Pro Box. Some of them say super bass on the top of them.

It probly sounds bad because he has a chicken poop amp powering four chicken poop subs! Take the 15's out and run the 12's. Even then they are going to be under powered.

Ok sounds good. I had a choice when I actually had money either buy a Glock 17 .40 or a Sundown 3000d and I went the Sundown route. Gotta save up for a new pistol now. Lol

That is not correct. Setting your amp to your hu pre out voltage is not how you set your gains. Read the sticky in the amplifier section for the proper way to do it.

^^^^Plus you don't have to worry about showing off your system and some guy saying "oh yeah, I have that same amp". I hate that.

Just like you said, run the + to + and - to -. The battery is it's own ground.
