  1. im about 90% sure he talking about the magnet shifting away from the basket... hints the bolted magnets hes looking for. i think when hes off roading the sub gets thrown around a bit and the glue holding the magnet to the basket starts to give and it shifts.. just my .02
  2. need a new amp soon need mooraa powwaa

  3. i can name them and only left the house once. 1. speeding 15 over droping the girl off 2. no seatbelts 3. no turn signals 4. not totally stoping and any stop signs 5. roasting tires leaving school and i havn't even left for work yet. lmao
  4. yeah i like the smds to they look badass. but the motor on the lvl 6s are sexy as hell and are beastly. but the BIG question dose anyone know when either one is coming out??
  5. i want my system to get down and sound good doing it im working on my box for a while its 16cf and tuned at around 34 braced and all that stuff so no flex fo sho.
  6. well thats not my prob lol i was wanting to run 6-12k wrms so it will be fine i have a while untill i get my truck done so you guys think they will be out by 2 months or so?
  7. or running only 2 tires on the back insted of 4
  8. YES both must be wired together or you WILL mess your coils up look it up on rockfords web site how to wire your dvc subs the way you should to get the maxium output
  9. dose anyone know when they will be out i know theres fifty topics on this but i would like to know this because im debating on buying 2 lvl 5s or waiting on the lvl 6s or the smds
  10. the best way ive seen is using a old power supply out of a desk top computer it works awsome i got a toggle switch on mine so i can power it up with a flick of a switch just search around on google and u can find how to wire them id look but not at home now i know u have to connect to wires together to get it to send power thru the wires and power up that badboy i ran a rf 500.2 in my room for ever with one of these
  11. well money isnt really an issuse i can save a couple cheaks and get a 300amp and be ok? and mla i dont think i can see nothing is stock under my hood the only thing that is the same from when it had the 4.3 vortec in is the serpinten setup everything else is custom and 4 runs i was thinks about 4 but wasnt shure would it be over kill for some 0/2 or would it be better?
  12. well its not set in stone but a yellow top under the hood and some xs d3100 or d2700 in the back if i could would it better to get a 300amp alt i think my truck came stock with a 150 or so witch will not cut it for any of my needs.
  13. would just a 250 amp alt big 3 and 3 for 4 extra batts in the back be enough to support 6k rms? it would be in a 92 blazer 2 door with 2 ap30001 still undecided on subs yet but my box is 9cft i will be starting my build soon after i get my motor back in i dont think i can run dual alt setup because of space blazers never came with v8s and theres not much room after its in so i would like to know the safest way to run 3-6k on one alt or is it possible to keep from dropping below 12volts? thanks Zach
  14. well i only see one problem man did u read on the port its the inner dimensions bro 22" inner? and ur at 22" outer.. how is that gonna work i see your using .75 so subtract 1.5 from that 22 so u get 20.5 inner and go from there. thats the ONLY thing i see wrong good specs your port area is on so u could be bangin.
