can someone sketch up and give me a cutsheet for an enclosure..........2 sa8v.2 36 length 14 tall 11 bottom 5top will have a 4 inch aero at 17 inches long firing toward passenger side...............i would appreciate any help......

i love the lincoln LS but the tranny seems to be shit in these cars...........but the mechanic told me they are great cars just expensive to repair....

a buddy of mine thought his tranny was bad on his 03 ls........the price he got quoted to rebuild and install was roughly 2500.......but it ended up being something else....and the mechanic he took it to is the only mechanic i take my vehicles to.....so 2000 to 3000 grand may be right.....the mechanic says its a bitch to work on the LS.

all i ever use to run was re sx............and nothing else. local shop was selling re.....but he was a dealer and was having huge issues trying to get customers subs replaced...took him forever but they did replace them....but he wont deal with re anymore............sad to see an awesome sub and company like RE go by the wayside.....i use to beat the hell out of mine.............but i now have sundown sa8v2's..................

I have the mb quart onx 6.5 comps...2 per door off a rf power 400.4 and I payed right 140 per pair and they surprised the hell out of me......I wanted the rf T1's and to be honest I didn't hear a diff...and I'm not knockin RF T1's but at the time he had only 1 set so I bought the MB's and I'm completely satisfied.....but the decision is yours.......

Its a great sub.......but to me for the money you are gonna spend......I'd go a different route......but it is a great SQ sub that can get low and sound good doing it

this is how i have my doors and im using all 4 crossovers...........i was wondering that same question you are asking...but the crossovers are mounted behind my door panels.

right now my truck is sitting on 20's stock height..............i eventually wanna drop my truck. i dont think i will ever be able to afford to bag it........tire are 275/40/20.............what is the best way to drop my truck.........i dont wanna have to spend a boat load of money trying to do it as well could someone also photoshop what it would look like dropped

They only sell mainstream equipment....and I don't mind buying from them.......they are knowledgeable on what they sell.......but I've never had a preconceived notion that I knew more than they did.......he knows what I'm in there to buy....HU's or RF amps and other misc stuff like deadener things like that....and he doesn't push anything on anyone......but if someone ask what's the best I can buy he will push RF or Powerbass.......and Jay the installer is pretty damn good with fiberglassing.........He did my doors for me.........

I ordered 2 sa8v2's....my opinion and what I've been researching this is the way to go for me....just a question? Can u not go all the way across and make a box like 50inches? My box will be 37x14x5x11 and that gives me plenty of leg room...with a 4in aero...but I do have a f150....

I can't even begin to tell you how much stuff I've given away to friends or tell them just pay me later....so I guess treating people right will be rewarded.........

Yeah its pretty cool......but the main thing is. He treats any and everyone with respect when you walk In the door.........and the installer Jay has helped me out tons of times...they are gonna also let me finish my install in their shop.....Jay wants to see what these lil subs can do...

Yeah man.....good ole Southern Hospitality.......I've known the guy for 6or7 years.....but also I shouldn't say layaway..its more less store credit......he gave me a huge deal on my RF Power amps.....the whole crew at the shop is straight up cool....

Well I've been saving money to buy the S8v.2's forever....everytime I save I end up buying something for the wifey or the kids.........I buy everything on layaway from a local shop......but I could never save the money for the 8's...well last week me moved to a bigger house. And it has a gas pack and gas water heater so the extra money I had went to buy gas for it....didn't expect it to be that much...so my local shop said man you know what....you've spent a lot of money here and have sent me a lot of business...to my shock and amazement he said where can I get the subs from.... So he whips out his credit card and orders the SA8v2's for me....and says if it takes six months to pay it off no fucking problem......Shout Out to NC Sounds and Abraham......now that's customer service.......

Its gonna be atleast 2 weeks before evrything will be done.....I'm not expecting jaw dropping bass,but I'm expecting to be impressed..... And Smurf what kinda vehicle you have...

Ahhhhh ok...... Besides no one where I'm at in NC has these lil big ass 8's.......I mean sundown in general is not known here and the company is in NC.....

Appreciate that guys...but I've run 10' 12's 15's so I wanna go the 8 route and see what I can do with them.....and I've considered the sa10 but its something bought that lil beefy ass 8 that has my intrigued...and if I'm not happy with them I will throw them in the wifeys Kia Soul.

The port I ordered is 17in long and you would make the box 36x14x11x5? How would I make the port longer?

i also just ordered the port..............................hopefully by the end of next month...........i should be having BASS back in my life

so if i go 36x14x11x5 would make the tuning be..........

I appreciate the help.........and I plan on deadening the back wall....also could I go a lil longer and one inch less at top......but if not I will build the box....also it will be built with birch....
