yeah side port or whatever port.......i can go 50in if i have to....... i will just find room for the battery if need be and could go 11in at bottom and 5 and maybe 6 at the top

alright guys subs will be in my posession in 2 weeks. dimensioins are 14 tall 10 for the bottom 5 at the top and it can be from 40 to 45 in long. looking for tuning around 33 to 38hz i have the rf bd 1000.....birth sheet says 1396 at 1ohm. reason i dont want it past 45 inches because i have the xs power 1200 going right beside enclosure. i also have to have room for my other rf power 400.4............................... can someone design me a box with a cutsheet or tell me how this would work and slot port would be fine or even an aero port. any help would be appreciated

I've owned SX's. Not the newer ones but the older ones. I use to swear by RE. And I won't knock them now. Only thing I will say is for the price you can get better. I remember first set I bought 6yrs ago where like 500 for a set of 12sx's and with inlike a year when Usamps bought them out price went up like 200 to 300 bucks and that's crazy.

What a lot of people are failing to realize. Its battery technology is where the problem lies. It hasn't caught up with the demand at what we need to power cars or huge car systems. I would rather pay $1000 for one battery that didn't lose its charge for a period of let's say 6hrs and hold voltage at 14. Than have to pay $1000 for a lot of batteries and lose its charge with a few burps. But that's just my opinion.

Would be easier to use 2x6's or 8' or 10's. Wouldn't need as much sealer. But they most certainly would be bowed.

Ummmm just my opinion. Run the 18's. I'd rather have 2 big nuts then 4 smaller ones.
