Whenever I start my car my bass kicks real hard, even with nothing playing, it's done this with every amp I've had, now i can also hear the bass a little bit when I turn the volume on my hu up and down, is it a bad ground on my amp or hu/rca's? Or is it something else? I don't feel like ripping everything apart if someone knows right away. <lazy>

oh, well thats not very simple. find someone with a volt meter or go to a shop lol.

I think what you do is hook a volt meter up to the amp, set it to AC and play a 50hz test tone at the max volume you play at, then square then number and divide by ohms so 38.72^2 / 1 = 1500. I'm prolly wrong idk

The guy that did it did it in his garage, but he works for a family friend's garage, my mom called him and I'm going over there after school aparently. Thanks for the help I'll post back what they tell me later on.

Yea mine was leAking like crazy while I was driving one night, my parents noticed oil all over so I went and checked and I had no oil at all, but it stopped leaking when we replaced those seals, I read something about a seal being put in wrong and blocking fluid causing to do this, anyone ever heard of that?

Alright I'll keep that in mind, another thing I forgot to mention is that the throttle position sensor is going bad, I didn't think it would have anything to do with it, but then again I'm on a car audio site asking for mechanical help

No clue, I bough it as is without being serviced because It was so cheap and so nice it would still be worth it to get the trans replaced.

My car isn't shifting to drive right away (thats what it feels like to me atleast). When I back out of my driveway in the morning everything is fine, until I put it in drive and try to take off. It revs up for a second and then jerks and takes off, I know one of the sparkplugs is bad/ misfiring, and the trans fluid is fine, I just had a seal in the transmission replaced as well as one in the engine or something (rear main seal or something idr). Anyone have any ideas why it does this? Edit : oops its a 99 mazda protege auto trans with like 18x,xxx miles 4cyl

It really isn't that hard to build a box, I did mine without a table saw and the only set backs were a few crooked cuts which wasn't even hard to fix. You might even be better off trying to find somewhere that builds boxes cheap and drive there, my uncle owns a resale shop down here in Illinois, and when people buy subs from him and bring him a sheet of MDF he builds it for free. So I'd look around a little before you blow a bunch of money on a prefab, and even if you were to try to build it yourself its a 25$ gamble as opposed to a couple hundred. Edit :25$ not 25%

Now you're getting over my head lol, idk about those different cables and stuff, I just know resolution, setting up multiple monitors, and everything else on the computer's end. If it doesn't work when you plug the tv on and then turn on the computer then I can't help x: It shouldn't

Have you tried just turnin the computer off plugging in the tv and turning it back on? thats what I do with my desktop, any res shows up for me it just looks funny, but my tv is 1080i I think idk the difference. If that doesn't work it might be the way you're tryin to hook it up.

Sorry if you mentioned and I didn't see it but, is this a laptop or a desktop? and are you trying to run multiple desktops or just trying to use the tv as the primary display?
