    its either that or 2ohms n at 2ohms im puttin 750rms into a 400rms sub thats y im asking u guys what i should do.

    So Im still breaking in my Cvr due to warranty repair and I have it in a ported box. Problem is its a D4 and im running it at 8 ohms, which my amp puts out 375@4ohm n 750@2ohm so i dont think im running much power 2 it. I listened to my bro's D2 cvr wired @4 ohms and it got really loud for jus one sub. Im really wanting to know if it would be safe (or smart) to jus wire my sub for 2 ohms n tune my amp to the rite rms, idk if this works or not.

    based on what your running i definitly would, nothing is more fusterating then not having the power you need available.

    Couple months ago my buddy's 15 got jacked his doors were unlocked tho so thats kind of his fault. Anyways im getting paranoid with all the stuff i have installed and was wondering if an alarm system would work good on my 90 integra, and what ones i should be looking at.

    Based on your budget id get two Kicker cvr 10s and a ZX mono amp they are within your reach and they will give you the sound your looking for.

    Id do an Audioque SD12 or 10, they're good bang for your buck. And that sub would do good in a truck box with an areo port.

    you would wire them parallel to the amp but you have to know your amp and subs impedence and if you have DVC subs that will have and effect on the impedence.

    Yea I figured they were no use being that i c nobody on this forum with a high end system running caps.

    I don't know if this is true or not but I herd that capacators are not good for competition purposes b/c there only good for one note and then ther drained,so it kinda robs you. I had a 1 farad cheapy from walley on a p550.2 fosgate, took it off and it seemed a hair louder. What do you guys think about caps?

    I have a major trunk rattle issue and dont want to spend a crapload on dynamat, so do you guys think bed liner would deaden the rattle and mabey i can gain some spl?

    o that makes sense so do i hook the dmm straight to the amp output?

    how do i know what to set em on?? all i got is a freq., bass boost, and a gain. and its a mono amp so i assume the gain turns it up.
